Our amazing party coordinator is on vacation currently and our backup folks are struggling apparently.  There's no excuse, I just wanted to let you know the likely cause.  I will be glad to give my cell phone number to anyone who PM's me for personalized service.

I hope that a missed call back doesn't keep anyone away.  We put a lot into making this place special and as I've explained, we've been open 3 weeks and are still learning.

For this situation and any other that has arisen or will arise in the future, the one thing that is certain is that I will bend over backwards to make it right.
I can vouch that Gene is trying his best in the short time he has had so far.  Heck they even donated a mass amount to the library for the kids, and being a new business that is a very hard donation to make.  I say before you write the place off, go down look around, hell ask for Gene and he will give you the same tour he gave me if he has time, and show you all they have done with the place.  The storage facility is awesome.

Thanks for the vote, Deaglos!  Trust me, we're trying.

And by the way, why haven't I seen you with the little ones out here yet?  Ask for me, I wanna shake your hand.

I know how a new business can be hectic, but it seems that new businesses would want to make sure that they treat someone right.  I could understand 1 call not being returned, but 2?  I don't know, we will just have to wait and see, the jury is still out on this one. Other places have returned calls but we were actually waiting on K Jakes because thats what the babies wanted. Might have to disappoint them.

I dont think it needs to be a disappointment, as Gene just said he would send ya his personal cell and take care of it.  I also know how wild a new place can be, and when you deal in a place with kids it can be five times worse.  Give Gene a call, I doubt you will be disappointed.

We have already called twice D, shouldn't they be the ones calling us? they have both cell phone and home phone numbers, and have YET to return a call. Actually today is our little girls Birthday, and our little boys is next week, so we were going to have both at the same time. May be to late to schedule now. And we have been trying to get info since APRIL. PM's were sent and we received 1 answer.

edited to add..the ball is in their court now, if they want our business they should respond to our inquiries.

I wish everything worked out as perfectly as planned, but alas it doesn't.  We have 2 education majors and one former teacher.  The education majors we initially hired needed the majority of the summer off because they were local college students heading back home.  So I hired a large group of CPR certified people and will have more education majors once college starts back.   Some of our people are young, but we want that enthusiasm of youth...

As for those who seem bothered by the children, I'd love a PM with a description of the person so I can take care of the issue.  Trust me, we have over 100 applications and take more daily, so there is no room for those who think children are a bother.

The Botz machine as well as the Velcro wall are big hits and in a perfect world, we'd have them both open at all times.   The problem is that we would have to have more staff on hand to do so.  I recognize the issue and a schedule is likely the answer, but if we are to stick to a strict schedule, it would limit the amount of children that could use it during each session and that, too, would frustrate parents and children alike.

We've hit our bumps to be sure, but we're working out the kinks still.  We've only been open 3 weeks so we're not quite at the top of the learning curve yet.  I appreciate constructive criticism and will do all I can to fix any problems that exist.

Gene

I wasnt trying to bust your chops Gene.  When we came and had a problem, you, the manager and a marketing person swooped in and fixed it more than I could have hoped.  There will be some wrinkles to iron out and I was just pointing out wrinkles.  Again, we have been there 4 times and even if I disliked the place my kids would over rule me and we would go anyway.  I understand about the bots and the velcro wall (wont let my daughter do that one) but I assume that is what the extra 2 bucks is for with the older kids since my younger one can do everything else.  I also understand not having them on all the time because of workers and then the price would have to be raised and we dont want that.  A schedule would be the only fair way to do it.  That would be better than being there for 90 minutes and having to hear 100 times when is that going to open up.  Why havent they done that yet.  I always sit down there and it seems to move quickly when someone does come over and it is hilarious to watch the kids do it.  By the way, I would so pay for an air boxing match up type thing.  Man, would that be fun to beat up my husband with :)
