OK. I have read and can not take it anymore. Though it is true that all workplaces has troubles it seems to me that Floyd would hold thier departments and managers to higher standards. I do not personally know anyone from MM but do see them everyday. I truly beleive that those employess that are on this thread should really conctact the VP Sonny Rigas. He is very nice and looks at both sides. Sexual Harrasment is something you should not have to put up with. Do not let this go I also think this is a good place to vent beacuse it lets you truly say your feelings without getting in trouble. I do not want to say anything bad about anyone this particular manager is not very well liked but is a hard worker. Did anyone think that she is so stressed herself by her manager that it causes her to become a diffrent person? I hope that this situation gets better for all. It is not easy to just quit and go find another job today. Thanks for reading. :Smarterthanyou: keep the posts up but just leave out personal feelings. I think you expressing yourself is great.

Amen j-man.  The attitudes expressed here just go to show that sexual harassment and hostile work environments are not taken seriously even in this day and age.

And as for the statement that this is not a safety issue like the EMS situation, I thought that it was established a while back in this thread that this is the department that all the pharmacy supplies and drugs come through.  This  is at least a potential safety issue when bad judgement and unprofessional conduct is show by the head of this department.

I don't think anyone isn't taking sexual harassment seriously ... but there are proper channels for this.  Yes, I could see how errors in this department could affect the public. HOWEVER, the accusations made on this thread have been of a personal nature, etc.  Present something to the public to show that someone is doing something that affects the dispensing of drugs to patients etc ... not statements that the supervisor is sitting in the car with a fellow employee.  With the EMS thread, there were documents and pictures that were revealed in a timely manner.

I went back and looked over the thread again.  Maybe I missed.  What were the accusations of a "personal nature"

Perpaps "personal" was not the word I should have used.  Maybe "internal" issues should have been the phrase.  I haven't seen anything posted on here that would affect the dispensing of medication to the public.  This particular person who seems to be getting crucified here was called out by name (that has since been edited).  What she does in a car with her employee, etc .... is really nothing of a public nature.  Again, I think every member of this forum could come in and post internal issues where they work.

This website is great for explaining the federal sexual harassment laws.  After a quick search, I found that Georgia has no specific sexual harassment laws!!!!???

I also still stand by my opinion that the head of such an important department that deals with prescription medications possibly exercising poor judgement and unethical conduct is a potential safety issue and should be looked in to

Perhaps it should be looked into ... but by whom ? That is the question here. I just don't think you'll get the public outcry that came with the EMS issues.

You quoted rgs.  I will quote the website I referenced in a previous post.

"Employees are protected under both state and federal law against workplace sexual harassment. Federal law remedies for workplace discrimination are based upon Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 [FN1], which applies to employers with fifteen or more employees"

Perhaps you would feel differently if this were a male department head.

I am really not trying to argue with you.  Myself and RNW have asked that this thread be toned down a bit and stick to the issues that affect safety or concern the public. Unethical behavior accusations do not necessarily endanger the public or put them at risk for getting the wrong presriptions.  This is the last comment I'll make on here as well.  I leave this in RNW's hands now as it is going nowhere.

I think this is one of those situations where:

1. Your side
2. Their side
3. The right side
