Thought this was funny and wanted to share it as JD just did, lol.
I won't ID the agency or location, cause I knew if his fellow officers found out, they'd never let him live it down
JD's out delivering papers, and called me to tell me he just passed a rookie officer running radar.
He said he was clearly visible due to the fact that he was sitting there unaware his lightbar was on.....................wow, lmao

| i was drinvg down the road just a minut ago and said WAIT i used the wrong 10-code... of course no one knew what i was talking about, so i was like "i gotta get back and change that befor some one thinks i am a tard..." what i meant to say was a 10-46 vehical...I felt REAL dumb after i relized what i did... LOL

How do you use the wrong 10 code? I would think after using them all the time they become second nature and even you would even tend to think in those terms.
For example, 20 years after the fact, I still say 2130 instead of 9:30 PM, call a wall a bulkhead, the ceiling the overhead and recognize something tilting to one side as a list. Just comes automatically.

Nah, I taught them what each call on a B'sun pipe means and I take their liberty cards when they walk through the door. The 1mc hasn't worked in years and you can't find a good ICman when you really need one.

Yes she did, we had to go get her a bathing suit for out vacation this coming monday
