Am I the only one concerned about this?

Lets do a poll and see. Maybe I just get paranoid here by myself at night (guess that why I'm up so late, I worry about too much, lol)

It seems to me that the less police presence the  the better chance for crime. (duh). The best form of police protection is police presence. The more patrol vehicles in populated area's, the better the protection. With less patrol vehicles on the road the better chance for criminals to carry out whatever lewd act they want. Not to mention response times to some calls could take longer time for arrival. Not good for a burglary in progress.

Doesn't really concern me. I mean after all, before this we must have had  more than enough cops since I would pass atleast 5 or more on my way to and from work, which is a 10 to 15 minute commute at the most. If they have that many on two main roads(turner mccall and shorter) then obviously they had others covering back streets, rural communities, etc. right?

So if I was able to run into an average of one cop car per 2 stop lights and they also had cars patrolling other non-high traffic, more likely to have crimes other than just traffic offenses, areas, then we had plenty to begin with and having them sit two to a car is not going to affect much. Maybe I'll only see 4 each time I go to and from work... BTW thats a one way trip estimate. I usually see 5 or more on the way to work and then 5 or more on the way home.

Before you start ripping into me about "Oh he must have traffic tickets out the wazoo... thats why he wants less on the main roads!" I'm 28 years old, been driving since I was 15(with adult supervision and learners license), and have never been pulled over, better yet gotten a ticket. I also have a clean record with no arrests.(knock on wood)

EDIT: Oh yeah and before someone I work with says something about "are you including the police station we drive past!" LOL! no! I'm not counting the ones parked outside the station or in the parking deck heh...

LOL!(police managment)

Seriously though... I doubt I'm always on the road during shift change... Anyways I don't blame the cops as much as I do the quotas. That's reason enough for them to be in clusters on the main roads...

Couldn't do that if you had a flinstone mobile, it would require another Rock Quarry to manufactor da wheels.
