Sorry but the problem is you can not separate fact form bash. I am not here to bash him. I am simple stating facts. If it were my blood brother I would say the same thing if I saw it and new it was true. When I see something wrong it is wrong period. I am not the kind of person who gets a pat on the back and a cigar shoved in his mouth and then he is good to go even though he knows the back patter has three pages of repremends against him.
Your problem is you are in love with the guy and you just don't want to face the facts. I can prove what I say and you could to if you were not blinded by love and would take a trip to the court house.

I had never laid eyes on Steve Hulsey until six months back. So if I am a family member I have to be one smart six month old. Tell you what. I do not have time tonight but tomorrow I will print out the refremends on this site. Now don't come down on me unless you can prove me wrong. I don't want lip service I want facts. I will bet a dollar against a doughnut that you can not even come close to proving me wrong.

Are you trying to say reprimands? Still trying to figure out what reprements, repremends, repre-whatevers are supposed to be.

I ain't in love with Tim! LOL!!! In love with the FACT that we have a Sheriff that cares about our county and runs the Jail like it should be.....A JAIL! Heck I have had family there and they complained too, but you know what they are there because they done the crime! BTW the nickname Floyd County Bed and Breakfast was meant to be a joke. You must have missed out on that one.
You know what..... you bash Tim, but have come up with no real reason why Hulsey would be a better Sheriff. When you get a real leg to stand on, other than Matt got beat up because he ran his mouth to the wrong guy, Come On over to the Burkhalter/ Hulsey thread!
BTW thanks for explaining what Justice was talking about...REPRIMAND

sure he has red..............you just have to wait til tomorrow.....................................and find out why, for some reason, REPRIMANDS against the sheriff are kept at the courthouse......................................very strange...............................................and I told y'all to prepare.........................Matt's family pretty much destroyed another website's discussions with accusations such as this..............................................................................it will only get worse (well maybe not since the judge set a bond for Matt).......................
Justice is a definitely a family member......................those in the past on another site said the exact same type of things and blame EVERYONE in the world except for Matt.............................................................they ignore or minimize Matt's prior DUIs and drug cases (which is probably why he's in this mess to begin with)......................

If you're point is that a law enforcement officer received reprimands during his career..............then your point is made and no one cares..........................EVERY officer receives reprimands because it satisfies whiny crybabies who feel the need to complain on officers who do their jobs........................................and it OBVIOUSLY didn't affect his career.....................................
I'd love to see Hulsey try to bring this up.......................ain't gonna happen

Bring it up. I heard that he tried ever thing under the sun to bring it up during the last election but the Rome News would not print it.
I have cut and pasted what is on top of the three pages I have.
Now if you can prove this incorrect show me how you did it and I will jump over on your side.
These records were given to the ROME NEW TRIBUNE during the 2004 Sheriff's election for them to be published so the citizens of Floyd County would be informed as to qualifications and conduct of the candidates seeking the office of Sheriff'. A check in the amount of $1400.00 accompanied the documents for payment for them to be published. (See check below) The Rome News Tribune said they could not prove their origin; therefore they would not publish them. Please keep in mind the documents are on official letter heads. You can judge for yourself, that all the documents have the name of the person/persons who issued them. They could have been contacted by a simply placing a phone call. It would be unfair if Steve Hulsey's personal records were not reviewed as well. Steve Hulsey has NO reprimands in his personal file. This can be verified by obtaining a copy of his personal file from the Floyd County personal department. Or by checking the agencies below where Burkhalters reprimands are on file.

| From an old man, if you are thinking about hunting , know what you are hunting and carry the right dog. Not having a dog in a hunt and not knowing what kind of dog to carry on a hunt with you, wont end in a good result. Kinda like carrying a bird dog to a rabbit hunt. I cant stand to see elections start to get dirty. Ask Kevin Payne how it can back fire or cause you more problems. Actually it seems to make people want to vote for the person you are saying negative things about. Reminds me of something I read" Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone". Now with that said and you claim not to have a dog in this hunt(actually I think its supposed to be "I dont have a dog in this fight", but by the spelling errors I can understand..... well we wont go there.) you might want to talk with Steve before you start trying to throw stones for him. We the voters are growing tried of mudslinging elections. You said you havent known him that long , I suggest you do some more research at the Sara Hightower Regional Library.
