McDonough Man Arrested for Aggravated Child Molestation in Rome
I have seen more and more reports of Child Molestation this past year, including the man who held his own daughter captive for 24 years. I just cannot understand why they would want to harm a child for their own gratification. Can they not find someone their own age or do they not want to?

It's sickening. Disgusts me to no end!! Very sick individuals, is all I can think of.
Like you said, it seems like it's happening more and more.

yup and then we have to pay to support these sick o's for so many years b4 they get let out and do it again.
I say anyone that harms a child under 16 should be automatically neutered given to BUBBA in prison as a playtoy, and after 2 yrs of toy fun summarily shot.

GOOD solution I can tell your not a bleeding heart liberal.......but they are much more fun ways to punish someone like that...... Like nailing their privates to a barn floor handing them a plastic knife and then setting the barn on fire and then its up to them to decide if they live or not.....

I also have to wonder about these mothers who live with these men and claim they didn't know anything was going on. How can they not suspect something is wrong and why do they not do anything about it?
These perverts get into court and some lawyer say's, "my client is sick and can't control what he has been doing" and the perv gets off with a slap on the hand and the children are given back to the family.
I would never let my children go off with anyone! I just cannot call it being "sick" I call it lowdown meaness from someone who wants control over children who can't, or are scared to fight back or tell.
I think I'll go rob an elderly person, I just can't control my impulses!

| make them suffer SLOW(whomever/however)!!!!!!! There is absolutley NO excuse for someone who does this to a child!!!! There are people walking the streets who will give it to anybody. SO why a child?? I once read of a 20 month old who was molested, I think that it was even by a family member. needless to say the small girl was severly messed up, Yep I would have been in jail myself 'cause i would have beat someones a**!!Still would if anybody touches my daughter don't care who they are.! Im sure most parents feel the same way!!!!!!!!!!

Fear of this is one reason I quit dating back when I got the girls. (And no, I didn't look this bad back then! ha ha ha ha ha)
Some folks will remember when we had the mess with the guy who exposed himself in the DG store. Well, he ended up with a plea down to a misdemeanor level from a felony level of 4 counts of exposure and 2 of stalking the girls! I couldn't believe it!! And what got me completely whacked was that the DA's office had the deal made and signed before I was included in the talks! Oh, they 'invited me' to 'include me.' But after it became clear, I knew it was not their true agenda.
We had an incident when a guy exposed himself to us after stalking the girls from aisle to aisle following us with me right there!! We were walking at the cart but I didn't see his crotch because it was below my sight level with the cart in front of me. When it all came out, another woman and her child came forward. They had been afraid to press charges until we did - same guy; same store about half a year earlier.
The guy did pleaded guilty to all of it but he had already confessed to everything when it happened. I asked the DA folks why they let it go down so far and they said it was to spare the girls and I. I said, "WHAT?!!!" Now how was that sparing us from anything? I still want to know the answer to that. It's years later and they still talk about that guy and what happened that day. (They were 5 and 7 at that time. We stayed separate until the police came and they were interviewed separately and we all said the same thing.) So maybe they could drop the charges for the other family - and I suggested that at that time - but I said, "No." That's when they told me it was already a done deal. After all, the DA folks assured me, he would be on probation for a while and if he did anything during that time, he'd go to jail. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LET A JURY HAVE HIM RIGHT THEN!
And we the public wonder why these people are out on the streets time and time again....
I have to pray about my anger toward those who harm children.

The problem with that thumper, is that the tax payers would end up picking up the tab for all the stitches they would have to have to keep them alive and the bill for keeping the flys brushed off their teeth.

I have a very simple opinion of these people. If they want to think about it, and not act on it, they can be sick. I will even acknowledge it and hope that they find help and get better. The MOMENT they act on it, they are pure evil and at the very minimum, need to be put away for a long long time.
