| Welcome to the forum pyrowalker. You are right, but there are people who really do need help and we have to decide how to handle the situation. I, for one, won't ever give them money, but I will buy food or gas for them and if they really need it, they will stick around to receive it.

| Yesterday while traveling thru Armuchee, across from the mall there was a man holding a cardboard sign that said stranded family need food and gas. There was a woman in the car that was parked there, but I just wonder where he got the cardboard and the markers to make the sign if they were stranded.

| We have them at all the off ramps on I-75. They will sometimes have a dog, a wife and/or children. We always give them a place to stay and get fed. They are slowly beginning to get the message. Now they are starting for Gordon County who lets them get by with it so I'm told.

| when grabbing one of them one day, he complained that I never seemed to bother the ones on the ON ramps. He was right of course. The ones on the on ramps just have a sign that says, please get me out of here

I had one too and my wife took it away from me, beat me and hauled me back inside.

This afternoon there was a silver car (I have no idea what kind, I'm car model challenged lol) parked at the service station (that is now empty) across from the mall.
The guy was standing on the corner holding a cardboard sign. It read Please Donate $$ for gas. Family stranded.
The female was sitting at the driver's seat with the perfect "help us" look. The guy had on a white "G" (bulldogs) hat that looked brand new. Nice shirt and jeans and really nice tennis shoes. They weren't your usual homeless looking ppl.
I felt sorry for them, but you have to wonder. I didn't donate, but ppl were staring and maybe a few thinking the same thing I was. Is this for real? Is this how they buy the nice clothes they are wearing?
The car was a clunker compared to the way they looked.
I'm really not trying to be judgmental, but I wonder what was up at the same time.
