Never held one.  I want to take the class where you dont need a gun or ammo the 1st course so you can see but cant get anyone to call me back.  I think it would help with my aggression.  Anyway...sure you made a friend.  When's the pool party?  I will bring the hot dogs :)

John out at the RPD training center holds a Ladies Only Gun Saftey Course every so often.  Give him a call.

A couple of years ago (right before it got bought), it was about $80 a month X12 months.  Pool open from Memorial Day until Labor Day.  Don't know what it costs now.

Thanks! I actually just called two places.

The Horseleg Plantation is $375 per family, pool hours are 10am-7pm Tuesday thru Sunday.

The Kraftsman Club is $150 per family, pool hours are Mon-Thurs. 12pm-6pm, Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 1pm-6pm.

Hope this helps!

What and where is the Kraftsman Club?  I've never heard of it and Google isn't helping.  What all is there?

Edited my misspelling...

Now somebody correct me if I am wrong because it has been over 20 years since I've been to the Kraftsman Club.

My mother worked for GA Kraft for years and we were always members. As much as I can remember it's in Coosa somewhere behind Inland Container (used to be GA Kraft). The address is 284 Kraftsman Road and the phone number is 706-235-9377.

I am not sure what all is there but I do remember going swimming there when I was younger. Maybe call them and they can tell you exactly how to get there.

Oh.......... I think a Marine DI could contain the little savages with No Problem.

The city should be so proud of their fine lifeguards.

My kid was a lifeguard there at Kraftsman, around I think 6 years ago for a couple of years, was and still certified. . Had to help refurbish the pool area, came home every day with blue paint. Typicqlly quite there, used to take lunch there and few kids. Had one heck of a whistle, had a few problem kids, not many.

I can not take that anymore after the whole White Water thing a few years back.

Dear Lord, thank you for my new online friend that invites me over to swim thus saving me from the hell on earth torture of the city pool and Diaper City.  Amen.

:P

Oh I made a friend!

Hey..the guy at Kangaroos Jakes thought I was you.  Probably an insult to you, sorry.  Besides, I am one of those chicks that would point the gun at myself probably.  Never held one.  I want to take the class where you dont need a gun or ammo the 1st course so you can see but cant get anyone to call me back.  I think it would help with my aggression.  Anyway...sure you made a friend.  When's the pool party?  I will bring the hot dogs :)

I know of a great place to learn!  Come to a Women in the Outdoors event!  It is a weekend full of outside things to learn about.  There is one in Helen the last weekend of the month!  It is $85!  A few of us are car pooling up so the whole weekend would only be about $10.  You could bring some spending money too!  Let me know if would like more info!!!  :D

Hey..what are those prices for?  Summer or yearly?  Daily - Better come with gold.  Any special qualifications.  I feel like I would feel out of place somewhere like that.  Not snobby enough (sorry if that rubs someone the wrong way that might be a member) I just dont want anyone looking down their noses at the nonperfect family like they think they are.  :)

me and the outdoors are not friends although Helen sounds nice.  I do not like camping and am allergic to everything God created in the great out doors - Bees, wasp, poison ivy, grass (no kidding), pollen, mosquito bites make me swell up..I unfortunately could keep going.  I went camping one time in my life and was miserable the 2nd day because I was covered head to toe and in my ears and nose with a rash from poison oak.  Sad huh?
