Apparently, I am not single ... I was informed of this at 2:14am. I was sitting by the phone, asleep, TV still going and it happened ...
[ring] [ring]
Me: Hello?
Her: Dave, when are you gonna come home?
Me: I thought I was home.
Her: You know **** well you're not home, now get in the car and come home now!
Me: Hello? I think you might have the wrong person?!!?
Her: You better get home now!

After some cursory checks and a reverse number lookup or two, I discovered my surprise partner was located in Columbus, GA. I do, however, have to question the seriousness of this relationship as the misses has not called back since 2:14am, and it is 3:22am as I am writing this. I still have not gone "home" as she put it.
So ... in retrospect, Dave, if you're out there (I know I am Dave, but this is a popular name) you might want to head home! The misses is now calling anyone in Georgia named Dave looking for you!
As for me, I return now to my single life, although this time, with the TV turned off while I continue my napping.

Deaglos ... the reverse phone number searching provided me with her first name, her last name and an address. It is an address I will not be visiting for safety reasons, besides, if she called me this far away from columbus, anyone named Dave for 5 or 6 counties over may already be there.
Who knows, she could be setting up the first ever convention for guys named Dave.
hazygray ... with a voice like hers, I'd not forget! She called me, and from the sound of her, she'd been bar hopping and was at the point of barely being able to speak. She was awfully upset that I wasn't coming home.
As for the Dave to which she is attached, he has my sympathy, she was not friendly at all. Also, if you haven't been home yet, Dave, don't be expecting one of the rolling pins!

I am LMAO over that one.
I think the reason she messed-up is that Columbus has some of the same prefixes as we do in Rome and she just dialed the wrong area code. When they switched all that a few years ago I was getting calls from people in that area too.

Guess I'm still single ... she's not called back. Perhaps she found someone, or the person she looks for? (She sure sounded mean on the phone, I sympathize with her partner/victim)
lmao@fudge84 ... I gotta embellish a bit, kinda like a fish story if she does call back. Or maybe I should say she can have him back, supposing she can find him?
Maybe we should find some way to host a singles meet somewhere in Rome or the surrounding areas? Seems not too many matches are made with pixels and electrons here.
