This just came by my inbox.  I had no idea that the RFPRA did not manage the youth leagues directly.  Now I see why the fees are so high and such.

I could be wrong, but I think RFPRA and YAI are different leagues.

RFPRA only plays at Etowah and North Rome not the Levee.

Game Locations
Games are played at two locations:
N. Floyd Park, 102 N. Floyd Park Rd
Etowah Park, 1325 Kingston Rd

The RFPRA owns the park and leases it to YAI.  The Rec wants their hands back in it but there was a long standing agreement long before Garland came aboard.  The Levee was awarded some good tournaments for the summer.  They will host 7B state and 8A state to name a few in the next two weeks.  The Levee runs a successful competitive league.

I wish the ghost of Shag Knowles would come back and straighten out the RFPRA.  I remember when he ran it no child was ever denied the opportunity to play sports.  It was plain and simple.  The kids had fun!  It wasn't about the money like it is now.
