I think it is hilarious you go years with two high schools playing there and it is the color of one of them now you have just one and a college team and the color don’t match either one of them. But close to WR

What better way to get people behind saying adios to the stadium than to paint it a hideous color? With all the big money breathing down the necks of the nitwits we have selling out - I mean running this town into the grou- I mean running this town, it blows my mind that they spent a penny on the place at all.

There are some things that just need to be left alone regardless of how much some yahoo waving greenbacks says. One of them is the duck pond, another is the stadium.

I must be in the minority here but I think the way they painted it looks kind of nice.  I think it's supposed to be "retro".  I didn't like it the first couple of times I saw it but I kind of dig it now.  I wish it had been that color when Chieftain Pride was strong....lol

I think it's better looking than that East Rome blue that it was painted for so many years.  "W.R. alumni" :P

"Chieftain fans are you rrrrrrready"

Yeah, it took 16 years after West Rome closed, but they finally put a good color on it.

I know thr reunion is open to all graduates, but is this more of a 50, 60, 70's reunion?

***************

They need to leave Barron Stadium alone...... but, Barron is destined to be another landmark that will find its way to the wrecking ball in favor of the almighty dollar and a few closed door "negotiations".

Will David Doss, transportation Board get the same kind of deal he got on the land next to the "leads to nowhere pedestrian bridge?

To answer the question originally posted, I believe the stadium renovation is supposed to be completed the first week in August.
