Well, looks like we have a new center with a CVS going up at the (supposedly) worst intersection in Rome.  I wonder if that will help???

sorry, let me clarify, its not going to be at the corner of MB and the loop, it is at the corner of MB and redmond, It appears there is going to be an access road coming off the loop from a few hundred yards before the intersection

According to what I read on HH, it's under contract, but not a done deal yet:

http://www.hometownheadlines.com/New_Site/business.htm#Wachovia
The site is owned by Berry College but is under contract. Here's a statement by Danny Price, Berry's in-house general counsel: "I can confirm that property owned by Berry College at the corner of Martha Berry Boulevard and Redmond Road is in fact under contract for sale to MetroGroup, a commercial developer located in Roswell. It is our understanding that CVS/Caremark intends to open a new retail pharmacy on the site. Because agreements with other potential tenants are still being finalized, no other details can be confirmed at this time. The college has been extremely proactive in managing the design and architectural details of this project. It is our expectation that should this development come to fruition, it will set a definitive standard for future development in the Martha Berry corridor.”
