Oh yes, I AM old.... going to hit the big 5-0 in Sept.
don't let it fool you.... the young, frivolous nature I possess is more commonly referred to as immaturity! LOL.
BTW, it is truly a crime for you not to know who Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd is. You youngun's missed out on that!

Once you said you were gonna be 50, I'm a little surprised that you know who Creed and Limp Bizkit are.... I almost thought you were my age...with a deep love for the old stuff....lol

I have a 25 year-old son is responsible for exposing me to the "newer" stuff. Quite a while back, when he was still in high school, he said, "Mom, you have to hear this new band!" Turns out the "new" band was AC/DC. I laughed so hard, I cried. I hated to tell him that these guys were around when his mom was his age. LOL.
I'm getting set in my ways, though. I can't seem to get too interested in anything that my 10 and 12 year old daughters listen too. It's like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard, and before I lose my mind I have to flip it back to my "oldies" station.

BTW..... could we all quit pointing out just how OLD I am. I'm starting to get a complex. LOL.
So nobody knows my faves..... what's yours? This OLD lady might like it, too, but just needs somebody to refresh her fading memory.

| I do know alot of those artists but not many of the songs. I listened to the eagles and a little of meatloaf, chicago, journey, even though i was not really old enough then either, i really like old music. I was actually raised on country though.
