| we need an early warning system in place for our procrastinating commissioners. if we had one in place then maybe floyd county wouldn't carry so many black eyes

ARE WE IN A RACE FOR THE STUPIDEST COMMISIONER AWARD.?.?.
Chattogga County Commissioner pulled a gun on her boyfriend.
Floyd County Commissioner has licence suppended for 7 yrs and expects the eveyone to believe that he only knwo about it for a few months!
I THINK THAT WE MIGHT WIN THIS ONE HANDS DOWN!!!!

yeah atleast she was in her 80's, she can always say she is suffering from demintia or just being old as dirt and prob get off

I love all the excuses. Mine is that it's not demintia, it's from all the TV dinners off the aluminum trays back in the 60's. But that's my excuse and everyone else has to get their own!

Shorter College
On Friday, June 27, crews installed a new emergency warning system at the Rome campus, which gives Shorter College the ability to alert and inform this entire campus at once should a crisis situation develop.
The Student Alert Mass Notification System offers siren alerts as well as pre-recorded and live-voice announcement capabilities. The siren can be utilized in case of severe weather. Other emergency announcements would be made through a pole-mounted speaker system located near the flagpole. Repeater systems inside outlying campus buildings will spread the alerts to the Professional Studies Center and the Art House.
The custom-built emergency warning system is battery operated so that it will remain operational should the electrical power on the campus fail. The system is a product of Whelan Engineering Co., Inc., and is designed specifically for college and university use.

I bet it is overpaid and underdelivered. UGH... I am quite sure I could have done a better job at half the price and quit commuting to Atlanta everyday!
