unfortunately it isn't my job to get out there and do anything about it. I do not work for the police force. I wouldn't mind a little vigilante justice though

Do you have to be on the police force to be a part of a solution? Don't cop out on me! I really want to hear some of your ideas, plans, goals to combat this problem. Besides the Police are always hiring.........can you handle being responsible for solving such a problem/epidemic making what they make, or with the resources they have???

I agree with educating the citizens of our county, but I see so many of these meth heads in and out of jail. I also agree that the Sheriff has done a great job, but it seems that stiffer court sentences would also send a message, but how many times have you your self see people go to jail time and time again to just recieve probation. Then violate their probation and recieve a bull---- sentence. The Sheriff can only do so much there I just wish we could have some people run for some judges positions. That is where change is needed. DON'T YOU AGREE! I remeber you chasing one for a few days and him just serving what a few days or maybe a week?

The problem with (BS)sentences is there are no set standards in all cases. I believe this stems from weak kneed liberals getting laws passed based on what one of their family members done or how they were treated with they were locked up. Our whole judicial systems has problems not just a Judge. Some of the problems begin with the Juvenile system when juveniles are given repeated chances to reform. What you need here is a bootcamp not the YDC where you can earn points to play games or given a party. We as a society should never reward bad behavior, but unfortunately we do. Your correct on the probation sentence, by being placed on probation is where you were given a chance to turn your life around. If you fail to complete the probation then stiffer sentence should be imposed. If that was the case then it would be viewed as to HARSH, so then we again bow down to the liberals. What America Needs this day and time is a BACKBONE, this might fix the problems in the judicial system.

Something to think about:
Could it be that jail is a job? A job just like you or I have. We get up, go to our job, go home and do it again the next day.
One every year or so, we take a vacation (or whenever). We get done with that vacation, we go back to our jobs.

Those who end up behind bars time after time are usually people who cannot or do not want to cope with life's responsibilities. They would rather have someone be responsible for them, feed them clothe them, tell them when to shower and brush their teeth, pay for their healthcare, dental work, education, etc. Sounds a little like illegal aliens doesn't it? Truth is, repeat offenders like the thrill of trying to get away with something and if they do get caught, the jail is like a vacation for them. They don't have to go to work everyday, they don't have to worry about feeding a family or where their next meal is coming from, they don't have to answer the phone when the bill collectors call. It is the families they leave behind who have to deal with all those things and in a case like the murder that just occurred, the family is left to deal with the big hole in their lives that the loss of a loved one leaves.

| I agree, but too the ones who really try to do the wright thing have a hard time because alot of business owners do not want to give a convicted felon a job. So to supprt their families (the ones who want too do the wright thing) can't get a job, so they are kinda forced to go back to their old ways to do so. Now there are those that don't want any other way than jail, prison and three hots and a cot.
