According to the RNT he filed an opens record request today to find out how much the county has spent on the Craton lawsuit and to prosecute Gorden Lee.

He is correct... ol' George jumped back in the lime light today... I have to say though, George usually has facts and does not completely slander people.

Ok, from some of the reader comments on the Dixie Mafia story, it appears that she has found an ally with a "disgruntled" Attorney from Chattooga .... I wish I could figure that one out.

Now, she has them all tied to Armas and Tarvin and even Rickman ..... the tangled web she weaves.  Is any of this possible ? You tell me.

I'm all for anyone who goes after corruption. Hey, what ever happened to old George Anderson? He stopped doing stuff locally, did they run him off or something?

you should read something outside of RNW, George filed two Open Records Act requests with Floyd County in the last few days!

It now looks like much of what TW said about Chattooga county was true. Check Current News on romenewsbywatson.com, Feb 22.

BUT...

She sure got it right about the contracts with Polk Board of Education

Sullins cleaning crew has close ties to our county government and Mark Sullins was at one time a county commissioner....I have had so many teachers approach me latety..wanting me to get the word out about how the schools aren't being cleaned...Polk County had a lower bid with the company in Rome..wasn't long before accusations and allegations started flying..they were booted out and Sullins welcomed in...for 100's of 1000's more per year. Good Ole Boy system alive and well in Polk..I'm glad someone brought it out into the open..unfortunately..not many are listening.

I wish some media would do an investigation into the cleaning practices of Sullins and expose them for their negligence.

Rome city board of education recently took bids for cleaning Rome high school. Before  the bids were "officially" opened, the board purchased equipment to do it themselves, even though they still went through the bidding process with no mention they had already made a decision. That wasted alot of local businesses time. This bid was to replace the same Rome company, which was still under contract, that lost the Polk county system.A month later they hired Sullins as a "consultant".Evidently, the good ole boy system is alive up here as well.I would like to see the cost break-down of the previous contract and what the are spending now.perhaps someone should investigate.

and yet the teachers at Rome High are having to sweep their own classrooms if they want them swept on a daily basis.  In some of the classrooms, there are large amounts of dirt, paper bits, and hair under many desks.  GROSS!!!!!!

TW might be a bit over the top at times, but at least she has guts! What does it matter if she has an 'agenda'? If it is to expose corruption, then fine. Somebody has to do it.

Expose corruption.... Fine! But no one will take her seriously as long as she does it so over the top!

The bottom line, even if 99.9% of what she says it the truth, the majority of people will chalk it up to... she's just a nutcase!

She blew her credibility when she started sounding like a propagandists... It's sad because she could have done a lot of good with that site...

At least, there is someone who is not afraid to stand up to people.  There is so much that people would never know if they did not read Romenewswire and/or Romenewsbywatson.

There is a fine line in HOW you stand up to someone though.
