I don't have a problem with fingerprinting or DNA swabs. I think having a database with as many people as possible should be available to all law enforcement, especially in the cases of violent crimes that seem to be on the rise. With that information available, it seems that there would be less time involved in trying to find out WHO did it and more time on apprehending the suspect.
