My daughter is just like her me! She has a soft spot for abandoned animals. Last night at her job she found a solid black kitten. Its eyes are matted, so it will need to see a vet Monday. She said that it is very sweet and it is eating dry food. If someone would like it please post it here or PM me. We are going to keep it here till the last hour that animal control is open today. I would keep it, but we have 2 adult cats that are not very happy with the kitten being here, and 2 young dogs that would probably think it was a chew toy.

Ok the kitten is still here! She would rather give it to someone that would take care of it. Someone has told her about what will happen if no one adopts after so long. If anyone knows of anyone who would like a solid black kitten to love.... PLEASE tell them about this one. We believe it is male. It is very loving! She sat down this afternoon and washed it with a wash cloth and it really seemed to enjoy it.

I wish you luck on this. We already have 3 cats, one which cannot go outside unless guarded, to stupid. Two broght here by my kid as my only grandchildren. Brought 2 more home and I said no, they will go to the shelter......I ain't running a cat house.

Have you checked with the humane society? I know in Atlanta, they would pick abandoned animals up and try to find homes for them. I don't know much about steral feral, if they take animals or not. We have 3 adult cats, and a litter of 5 that is just 3 weeks old. We will be looking for homes for them too. Their mom was dumped on us, she's a really sweet cat but we didn't want any more, and we have 4 chihuahua's.

The kitten is going to the vet this morning. She is going to take it this am and find out what it is and to see about a its general health.

We are suckers for anything dumped off at our house and my grown children like pets so we have hamster, snake, fish, 2 dogs and are finally down to one cat. We had a turtle but it passed away. I can't get them to understand that NO MORE PETS for me to worry over means don't bring anymore home. They think if one goes, it is OK to replace it. No more, no less. My son had two puppies and one was run over before daylight one morning while they were leaving the driveway. We had 3 adults crying like babies in the dark while trying to bury him and having to see the other puppy look so pitiful. I had been threatening to find them a new home because they are diggers and I have flower beds. Now, we have the remaining little guy and are too attatched to give him away. Good thing because he is a mutt and I don't think anyone but us appreciates his specialness. Our rabbit dog is getting old and I dread the day we have to bury him. Pets are a big responsibility. Good luck finding a home for the kitten.

Not a cat person sorry. I have been quoted as saying the only good cat is a chinesse prepared one. Love dogs though

Ok the vet visit was good! It is a HE and HE only has a head cold! She got some medicine and we will take care of it for 1 week. Please help us find him a home.

i do hope you find a home for him. i finally found a good home for my cat. no more cats !! there are so many cats in my neighborhood. plus a litter was born about 2 mths ago and now the kittens are hanging around my neighbors house !!
