Like we did with the dentists, can we come up with a list of good car places in Rome?  I haven't had too much work done - yet - but I know the day will arrive.  For tires, I like Bert Brooks on 2nd Avenue.

Yes yes! I like this idea! I haven't found a good place either. We did have a HORRID experience with the "Expert" tire place on Broad St.

Who likes their mechanic?

We went to Binkley's several years ago.  I would NEVER do business with them again.

My transmission just went out on my car and I would like to sing the praises of a wonderful gentleman down in Cedartown. Price was right and he did timely and excellent work.  If anyone needs transmission work done he's the man for the job.  He works out of a shop in backyard.

I'm sorry you had issues with them.  I don't know what you were having done but I do know he has some excellent guys working for him now.  I've always gotten excellent service and at a fraction of the price of the dealership.
