| You know it just never seems to surprise me how they think. I mean first they built the health department at the end of 12th street.( I heard that they had to quit parking county equipment down there because it kept being broken into and vandalized. I was told Scotty Hancock had the equipment he was reponsible for removed and they are parking their equipment at the county jail now.) Makes me feel good knowing my tax dollars are spent the way they like. Then they are building the Rec Center on East Main St. Now they are building nice wooden fences in a known drug area. For the love of goodness who wants to go to these areas anyway. I know when I or my wife go through thses areas we lock the doors. Forget the thought of getting out of your car and doing anything. Who will be going to this park besides the thugs that go their now. They will be given an area that will be concealed or money will be spent on property that will be destroyed if it interferes with the illegal activities that are known to take place there. Wait and see , Ill bet as soon as the Rec center (That Proudly States on the sign out front of it say built with my pennies) opens there will be vandalism , and crimes committed on site. Ill be the first to scream "I told them so". Some people may not remember but this is the same location where prostitutes use to walk the bridge. I was told they were trying to breath life back into that area. BULLCRAP.... you better pack a gun if you are going to visit any of them. I guess that is why Gov. Purdue signed the new gun law into effect... He heard what kind of idiots were making decisions in Floyd County. He felt that the citizens of Floyd County would need protection to visit the places they had paid for that were built in the crap holes of Floyd County, and police patrols were being reduced. I for one can promise one thing ...... Me , My Wife , Children ,and Grand Children will not ever visit any of them.
