This sad excuse for a mother gives a story about needing gas money like she is stranded at the Wal-mart.  Her child is her meal ticket, no telling what else that poor child has to witness - really, really sad!  She must live within walking distance of the Wal-mart, probably near the recent meth lab bust on Callier Springs.

The best way to deal with people asking for money is approach them about doing some odd job.  Cleaning your office, cutting your grass, picking up trash.  Tell them you'll gladly give them gas money or money for food in exchange for work.  Nine times out of ten, they will run away.  I've always said that if my family were in trouble and needed the money I would work at any odd job to get them what they need.  This is also a great way to tell if they are really in need or just panhandling.

how does sweetA know they are drug addicts? that is a harsh label when the panner could just be a lazy and/or unable to find work person.Just asking-

If sweetA can read minds or is capable of mental telepathy, she is wasting her time posting here!

besides, sweetA prolly has enough money to go around. reckon i could borrow a little to cover my ever increasing tax burden? I'll pay you back even if i have to pan handle to get it.

I saw someone like that at K-mart a few weeks ago. The little girl was very healthy looking and had a pudgy tummy even. They walked around and ask some men something but she never approached me. I don't know what I would of done if she had of ask me for money. She does seem to know what she is doing. I've seen her at east-side Walmart before also. She works quickly and it seems like when she gets some money she's out of there.

What would be the proper thing to do when asked for money by someone like her who is obviously on drugs, with a child by her side?

Call 911. Then they will call DFACS. That's just what I would do. I can't stand for children to be neglected. :X

Well treelimb, I was assuming and since I have a drug user in my family and have done a lot of research on drugs, I felt confident in saying she was a drug user. I wish I had mental telepathy AND enough money to go around! ;)

After seeing the pictures of those arrested last week, I realized that the lady I saw panning at Walmart was one of them. She was the lady on the very bottom left hand picture. Surprise!!!!!

Where is my sign located? The wide eyed smiley? sweetA got lucky w/her guess and KUDOS from me for responding.

I am assuming since you are providing my sign that you are loaning me the money. Thank you  thank you  you are a great person for loaning me the money for my 3 property tax bills. How about the one for my place here in Bama? I have to cover that as well----------

Just curious but reckon HussEIN obamba will provide the money for me? he'll get my vote if he promises that. It will become another empty promise-I promise. it won't be applicable to my type I'm sure---------------------------

Back home they have panhandling down to an art form.  I knew a guy up there that made anywhere from 800 to a grand a week and only worked at it about 35 hours a week.  Not bad for tax free income.

Just walk on by them, they hate confrontation and definitly don't want the police involved in anyway.
