I can't believe this whole thread is about how to make these folks job harder for them. Maybe next we should find ways to harrass small children. I like to personally make my kids think that I am going to leave them and run around the corner of the isle! So far it has worked like a charm!

FB I believe in treating each person as they treat me, old or young alike. When an older person is very very rude, I am very rude back. I however do believe in killing them with kindness, and will be very rude in a very kind way. Example. *It is very nice that you have found an old friend to talk to for an hour and hold this line up for all of us that would really like to get home to our kids. Do you think it would be possible for you to please allow the rest of us through and do your job?* Siad in very loud tone.

Just a story. Bought a TV at Wally World east. To big to fit in a buggy so they got a guy with a flat bed to come get it with a flat bed to carry to my truck. I had already paid for it and told him I would go and try to kind my truck and bring it to the door(CRS you know). He said Sir you have to walk out the door with me with the reciept. I just said OK. We just wandered around for awhile till I finally found my truck. I have an old high school friend that works at Wally World west. Retired from GE. Finally got bored and went to WW. putting bicycles together. (told me one day,, we put these together all day and sell them, but you don't see kids ridinng them anymore). I ask him about that TV thing and he told me employee thief, they had a bad problem with employees load high dollar items on floats and push them out the door saying I'm going to load this into a customers vehicle. Somebody finally figured it out.

I can't believe this whole thread is about how to make these folks job harder for them. Maybe next we should find ways to harrass small children. i usually don't have trouble with the greeters either, but when i'm outside the store and one grabs my shoulder asking for my receipt for 2 cases of bottled water, i'm going to have a problem with them......especially when they're in there telling the 16 y/o buggy pusher how to do his job instead of doing her's. not doing your job is not an excuse regardless of if you're 16 or 76. i mean come on....you think i'd steal 2 cases of bottled water??????????? (not actually saying you think that of course, but just saying) if i'm retarded enough to try and steal something of that little value, just shoot me now and improve the gene pool for the rest of humanity. as far as harassing small children, i have been known to do that on occasion if they are not properly supervised. case in point......went to chili's with my wife about 8 or 9 months ago. we were seated at a booth and there was a group of 15 or so people next to us with 4 or 5 tables pushed together for them. a 10 year old or so child from this large group had a pair of heely's shoes on just cruising up and down the aisle nearly hitting customers, waiters, waitresses, and the hostesses. well i was ready to get up and talk to the management about it when his heely's hit the grout between tiles and he falls flat on his face, bursts into tears, and i couldn't help myself but to quickly swallow my bite of food before i choke on it from laughter. yes i got a few dirty looks from the mom that was not being a parent for the uproarious laughter and finger pointing, but hey.......stupid is as stupid does. don't let someone else's ignorance be an excuse for them. I hope you all know that the greeters do not have to check everybody. I think thats a mis-nomer. I think they stop people randomly. I usually walk past them when they are checking someone else even if there is a line. Also, if you keep your receipt in your hand in full view they won't stop you(most of the time). I don't think I would appreciate anyone touching me unless I knew them. I'm surprised somebody hasn't "clobbered" her by now.

LMAO We went to walmart WR tonite for a few things and we had two cases of coke in the buggy. Of course, she stops us and wants to see the receipt. I busted out laughing because I was thinking of ya'll. She sure gave me a funny stare.

Ahh I can see the headlines now. *Cross stitch bandit captured by Wal mart greeter who states in all her 90 years she always dreamed of doing that football tackle and finally got to use it. Viciously taking the bandit to the ground and placing her under Wal Mart arrest until police arrived*

First of all that is not even close to the definition of "killing them with kindness" But You must be very proud. I bet your children are also proud of that behavior. Remember the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Folks don't really see how ugly their behavior is until their children act just like them one day. Of course, then it's too late. I think you would probably get the same results without the nasty attitude.

Well I did say polite in a very rude way, and as I have been in that situation as I stated earlier and have said excuse me a few times only to be told to wait, at that point I do just like I stated and in a polite yet rude manner also point out the errors of the way. Yes my children will be raised to also be vocal in a polite but rude way if needed, I do not believe it is polite for me to be made to stand there for 20 minutes while they find out about lost loves church news and other garbage. I do not have the patience for it, sorry.
