You stated that you have went through the proper channel at the hospital but you have not spoken with me.  I will be glad to meet with you or anyone else with concerns about the security at Floyd Hospital.
If you are in the upper level management of security I assume you will be contacted through corporate compliance.

ummmmmmm, he's the director..................anyone who works at the hospital would know that.....................................................I think we might have a poser.......................................................................................
I have worked at Floyd for 2 yrs and did not know he was the director.  I deal with security everday.  That tells me something.

Does anybody here have any sense at all?  If you have a problem with security, don't you think the proper channel would be to go talk to the SECURITY DIRECTOR?  Corporate compliance is used if you don't get the answer you want from the security director.  I mean, I'm no genius but that makes perfect sense to me!  Anyhow, I am starting to get the feeeling that this whole thing started because someone is mad that their car was towed. :D

I can't believe for a moment that someone deals with security everyday and doesn't know who runs the department.

This just shows that people want to get on here and run there mouth about things that could be solved by going to the person you have the problem with. Assuming that you know who that person is in the first place!:P

Amen.  People need to walk in other peoples shoes before they start passing judgement.  Some people don't know a good thing when they have it.  Some of these people are my friends and I don't like to see my friends hurt or abused.

kathy, while I've seen some problems at FMC with security, I agree with you.........................................................it's hard to believe that someone who has worked at FMC for any length of time would not know who the director of security is............................................................................starting to suspiciously sound like a nurse who parked in the patient/visitor parking and got caught and now wants to claim that she was only parking there for her safety..............................

In 99.9% of circumstances, someone hiding in the parking deck looking to rape a nurse would be deterred by the presence of another person, EVEN a little old lady.....................you know EVERYTHING is on the internet, so I'd like to see where a security guard, of any age or medical condition, was overpowered so that another person could be raped....................................................I find that hard to believe

Once again you point to a popular situation that happened so fast no one really could have stopped it.  There has been other situations that similar happened, and a student did return fire, killing 2 other innocent people because the kid thought he was protecting himself and shot the wrong people.  Then freaked out and tried to tell the police who responded to the first shooting he did not mean to, only prob he was waving a gun so was shot himself.

Yup makes me feel safer then having actual trained guards doing the job correctly and with support.

please do tell

still waiting deaglos......

I agree, Folks should not be so judgmental.  Obviously that makes some feel better about themselves.

I know a handful of folks that work at FMC and now I feel compelled to ask them if they know....lol....I don't think it would be hard to work somewhere like FMC for a while and not know who the Director of Security is, especially if you never have anything to do with that.  I think FMC employs like 3000 people or something, don't they?  That's a lot of folks.
