The fact of the matter is, whatever you say here is getting back to the people at FMC. You are messing with jobs. Like I said I personally know the Director of Security and he is very upset that these things have been said. He works very hard to do a good job. If SOME OF YOU haven't worked at FMC in 15 years how do you know what goes on there anyway? The things that have been said here are very personal attacks on very specific people. THE WRONG PEOPLE!

I agree.  Lets stick to the point of all this.  There is no need to insult older adults.  If you are not one you will be one day and it isn't a good feeling when people make you feel worthless, young or old.  I believe FMC administration needs to address this forum and let people know what they are going to do.

I have been in the directors office a few times and have not seen them playing games. In fact I know that the Director works when he is off. Have you been in that office? Do you know him? What games was he playing?:)

You stated that you have went through the proper channel at the hospital but you have not spoken with me.  I will be glad to meet with you or anyone else with concerns about the security at Floyd Hospital.

THE WRONG PEOPLE!I am glad this is getting back to the people at FMC. In case you forgot I am a Floyd employee. I didn't start this post to hurt anyone's feelings or "mess with jobs" or upset anyone. I can't help that sometimes the truth hurts. If you are in a position of authority you should be qualified and intelligent enough to realize you are always a target of criticism whether good or bad and do your job accordingly.

If the upper level management of security and/or whoever is over them are "the wrong people", who are the right people?

If the upper level management of security have no power or input on any of the issues listed in my first post, that is a whole other problem unto itself.

I stand on the first post I made in this forum and agree with what someone else said. The FMC administration should address this forum and let the people know what they are going to do.
A untrained, unprofessional security department is a liability to them when it should be what keeps them from being liable.

If you are in the upper level management of security I assume you will be contacted through corporate compliance.

I have friends that work in security.  They have told me they received training when they were hired.   Why doesn't administration address this issue.  Does Security not have their loyalty like the rest of the departments at the hospital or do they treat all departments this way.

From my understanding, new officers are trained specific to their duties at Floyd because there is a lot of PR involved.  They are also trained to defend themselves.
