Seems to me Kit is Floyd security. Just a guess. When I was at Floyd we did not have police in the hospital. Since they are now security and police they should work together instead of having bad feelings towards one another. When I was there we always tried to have a good working relationship with all police institutions in the area. I wonder if this is the way it is now? Probably not.

No Kit is not security or have anything to do with security.  Just know some people who work there.  It would be nice if the police and security could work together.

Maybe because the security officers as well are willing to "jump up and handle whatever comes up or whoever starts it?" HMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Are all the real cops late for duty in the ER or just some. I would agree that security has some very good people working in it, however their leadership is way less than perfect. to name a few good ones sherry and tim are outstanding there are others but i dont remember their names, but they should pay sherry for doing a sergeants job......wonder where the sgt for that shift is????????would the director know????

Probably the reason the cops were late is that they were tired because alot of them had already put in 12+ hours before reporting for duty at the ER. You think?

When I worked in the ER we had a very good working relationship with the security, we would help each other where needed and had alot of fun during the time I was there. I also made alot of friends while I was there. The only reason that I don't work there now is due to the taxes.

I guess I told you! lol.  There is no problem between police and security....................they all look out for each other and like one another as much as two groups can.  I think that it is an injustice what they get paid and don't know how they make it on the crumbs they get.

Just a few of my fav's:  Tim, Rodney, Sherry, Wayne, them Fox boys (get 'em going bout racing) kim, John C..........................................................

First of all the police officers here in Rome and Floyd Co work ten hour shifts - not twelve.  If they do extra, side work, it is their choice.  I understand many people in law enforcement work second jobs to support their families and that is honorable and oftentimes tough, however, the excuse of being tired should not be an excuse for being late for assigned duty.  So yea - thought of that and poor poor pitiful them

another satisfied "customer" LOL:D

Most of the officers I know who work at the hospital plan to work immediately following their primary job.........................................................................and I'm outraged that they would stay late due to manpower shortages, late calls, late arrests, need for back up, need for coverage during manpower heavy incidents (like the robbery in Lindale)................................I think that AS SOON as the time for their shift ends, they should just drop what they're doing and head to the hospital ER

sheesh
