RN para...they're in great hands with their grandparents. They are wonderful people. I fully agree that all politicians and public officials, servants, and enforcers are above all laws. I believe that the welfare system should be expanded, healthcare should be free and universal, babies should be killed, no one should own a gun, Jesus should stay in the church and be nowhere else, big business is terrible, no one should drive a car that gets less than 50 mpg, amnesty is a brilliant idea, taxes should be raised, and big government should reign supreme. Name calling aside, I was just stirring argument. I apologize. I know the guy and he's a good guy. He messed up a good bit, I'll admit, but it was traffic related and he'll take care of it. Lets not go calling for his head before we know the truth behind anything. Goodnight all....and I'm not voting for Obama...

Hmmm looks like i missed a fun nights conversation. CDK my question to you is in the paper he even admits he is at fault, even if he did not get notice, he knew. So why do you blame all county cops and everyone else? your quote: The real question is: Why has the RPD and FCPD let the issue go unnoticed for so long. Who can blame him? If you can avoid a fine for over seven years due to the lack of efficiencywithin the law enforcement department, who wouldn't? Before we attack one person here, lets look at the bigger picture. So in your opinion the police should know every single car in the county that has no valid driver, and yet we have fewer police cars on the road?? How do they do this? You also defend his silver spoon status that RGS gave him, which really is not RGS's business, if he earned that status, but you also help point it out. your quote: P.S. Fricks bought the white Dodge about 8 months ago from a local citizen. He picked it up from him about two weeks ago and its been in the shop ever since. He was probably busy putting two daughters through college and buying them new vehicles to get them around when they get there. Now I could careless about his finacial status, but sure wish I could by my daughters new vehicles and not worry about college. I must say I do not care how many awards he gets, if this is how he thinks in situations like this by throwing his look who I am badge out for ID, he needs not be in office. I could post the names of many many people that got awards for service and doing great things that have been arrested for many things. A firefighter with over 16 awards, was arrested for 15 years worth of abuse on girls with his wife helping. There are many others, I know Fricks is no where near that bad, but I am using examples of how an award does not mean much when the person does other things not in public eye.

romegasir wrote: rbwilliams wrote:Actually NATIVEROMAN all the you need in order for an license to be suspended is a minor traffic ticket. Maybe you should do some research on this before you feel the need to get your opinion out there and try to bash someone for something that you do not indeed know anything about. So go do some research and then please make another comment correcting yourself. That would be beneficial to everyone reading this, instead of misleading them with your elementary knowledge. Dude, I just asked questions, what is all of this about "you feel the need to get your opinion out there and try to bash someone for something that you do not indeed know anything about."? Here is what I wrote: For a license to be suspended, you would have to have a lot of offenses to make your points pile up, or several DUIs, wouldn't you? Would an unpaid former ticket cause your license to be suspended? Would driving without insurance cause a suspension? RomeGaSir, where are you? We need answers! You also stated: "please make another comment correcting yourself. That would be beneficial to everyone reading this, instead of misleading them with your elementary knowledge." What should I correct? I asked questions. Had I stated what perported to be facts, your comment might have made some sort of sense... So, RBWILLIAMS, who is misleading who??? (Thanks for the answers, RGS. Your posts are delightful, entertaining and informative!) BTW, I have a post-graduate degree. Elementary knowledge can take you far!

NO WONDER THE FLOYD COUNTY POLICE DEPT CAN NOT RECEIVE A RAISE WHEN SOMEONE LIKE FRICKS HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE LAW CLEARLY HE WAS NO RESPECT FOR THE UNIFORM SO WHY WOULD HE GIVE A RAISE TO BAD HE WASN'T CAUGHT HERE IN FLOYD COUNTY.

Who is reporting on the lack of reporting by the Rome News Tribune? I am interested in those stories. The RNT wins awards and awards but they can't report this? Has Atlanta and Chattanooga media picked up this complete, bias favoritism? Or are there news organizations to email this story to alert them of this extreme lack of honor? I wouldn't care if the RNT didn't try to put forth such a badge of truth and fairness. And I certainly wouldn't care if they weren't rewarded for their efforts. But the opposite of those two former sentences is true in this case. So I think they should be held to the standard they promote!
