Maybe you should do some research on this before you feel the need to get your opinion out there and try to bash someone for something that you do not indeed know anything about. So go do some research and then please make another comment correcting yourself. That would be beneficial to everyone reading this, instead of misleading them with your elementary knowledge.

rbwilliams,

It is not how he got his license suspended that is the issue.  The issue is that they are suspended and that he knew that he was breaking the law by driving on the highways of the State of Georgia with a suspended license.  The other charges are left up to a court to decide.

Nobody is running against Garry because they would lose, hands down. Anyone who has ever come into contact with the man knows that he's a d**n fine person in more than one aspect of life. He's more qualified than the majority of the other commissioners and he deserves to be there. He's a local business owner, the youngest Heart of the Community Award recipient in the history of the award, and he played a major part in bringing professional baseball to Rome and Floyd County. If he was ticketed and forgot, due in majority to him doing his job and dealing with the overwhelming amount of b***hing and moaning that goes on throughout the county, it makes perfect sense for the ticket to slip his mind. The real question is: Why has the RPD and FCPD let the issue go unnoticed for so long. Who can blame him? If you can avoid a fine for over seven years due to the lack of efficiencywithin the law enforcement department, who wouldn't? Before we attack one person here, lets look at the bigger picture.

P.S. Fricks bought the white Dodge about 8 months ago from a local citizen. He picked it up from him about two weeks ago and its been in the shop ever since. He was probably busy putting two daughters through college and buying them new vehicles to get them around when they get there.

LOL...........................are you saying????

Reporter:  "Commissioner Fricks........why did you break the law?"

Fricks:  "Well, all the b***hing and moaning citizens made me do it"

Reporter:  "And why did you wait 8 months to get a title on a truck you owned that long?"

Fricks:  "Because I'm a G-D commissioner and I can do whatever the heck I want to, in spite of the law"

Reporter:  "Don't you think that's counter productive seeing as how you hodl the purse strings of the local law enforcement officers?"

Fricks: "No, I'm tired of their b***hin' and moanin' too.  They're asking for a pay raise, I think they deserve a pay CUT"

Reporter:  "Wow, I appreciate your honest, but do you think that's politically savvy?"

Fricks: "I don't give a crap.  You are lucky to have me as a commissioner, I was the youngest recipient of some BS award, so you know I must be better than you or any county employee"

Reporter:  "Anything else"

Fricks: "yeah............. PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations. Not only are you completely ignorant and grammatically incorrect, you just called the Heart of the Community Award BS.

There's two sides to every story, you should probably attack the person that tries
to take the one you're not on.

Why don't you take your thumb out of your a** and your other hand out of your pants and go make something of your life?

Peace.

And I pray to God that is your picture you posted. If so, there's no point to this argument, because I've already won...

and on the same token, while attacking this silver-spoon-in-mouth moron, I'll ensure that I don't drive with a suspended license...............................Deal????????????:)

Well I'm sure you've never broken the law. You've never gone faster than the speed limit or ran a red light, only because running and doing anything fast are obviously not a concern to you (judging by the picture)...

Hmmmmmmm, either that 1% of Americans who believes that it's okay for Politicians, with silver spoons, to break the law

OR

close friend of Garry Fricks who is enraged that someone would point out that he is a criminal, allegedly :D

You keep saying the silver spoon thing over and over again. If you'd check your facts, you would know its anything but. A politician speeding is the same thing as you speeding. The only difference is that they have to monitor every little thing they do, because as soon as they mess up, people like you jump down their throat and string the noose. By using his status as a politician to further your point, you're automatically saying that he's better than you to start with.

except, that speeding is a ticket offense and suspended license is mandatory arrest.......................................................I only jumped down his throat when he violated the law for the 3000th time, and got caught.......I mean really, 2,999 times I can deal with, but 3000? I have to draw the line somewhere..................

He tried to show that he thought his status was better than anyone else by trying to use his position to get out of the situation.  He should of never flashed the government I.D..

Cops have the blue bar sticker on their personal cars, as do fire fighters and other public servants. Are you telling me that they have never played a part in someone getting out of a ticket or not being pulled over?

And fat***, if he's broken the law 2,999 times and not been caught, the law is to blame just as much as he. You probably break the law each day when you exceed the maximum weight limit on public bridges.

RomeGaSir, Campaign manager for Garry Fricks

Garry Fricks for Commissioner ...... "I only violate the law 3000 times before learning my lesson"

"I'm too busy to obey the law"

"I've got children, therefore I'm immune to the commoners' law"

"Whats' good for the goose, is NOT good for the Garry"

"Obey the law, or else you'll be like me"

"The Law......Life's biggest inconvenience"
