Oh I made the paper!  LOL THey said that I was hiding behind my sign!  How in the world was anyone to see the sign if I was sitting down and did not hold it over my face??????  Oh and the unidentified thing...I had said my name several times then she asked it again I said do mention my name or something.  Then she told me that everyone would know who I was because she had a picture of my face and I told her to print it then.  Well I see that she did not, why?  Because she did not have one!

She could not hear good I guess.  She was standing there while I talked to MR J and I introduced myself to him again stating my name.  He refered to me as Mrs Swann several times also.

She said she had a picture of my face and did not print it.

Strange Huh?

Judging from your avatar, the reporter might have been scared to print it. The reporter thought you might get them. LOL.

On a day to day basis, that is determined by Mike Coloumbo I believe. However, since the RNT basically wrote the story of Red being there in an almost mocking fashion, they put it on the third page saying... "This is news but it is not that important."

To me the RNT article sounded like, "one crazy protestor was there... what was she thinking"...

If you want my honest opinion... Nothing will happen unless more people step up and apply pressure to the commission, etc.

And the RNT will continue to mock anyone standing up for this until more people participate.

Good job Red, it does not matter if they claim that you are unidentified, all know who you are. And I thank you for standing up.

OK, So, when is the next meeting? If it is on a day when I'm on the clean up crew, I can come in my soot covered clothes, but don't worry, my hands are wash and wear, drip dry and sanforized, I have a valid drivers licence and insurance card. In all honesty, if I don't have the grandkids, I would love to be there to support Red in her endevor.

I stated before, I have fought for 5 years for more stringent drivers licence and insurance law enforcement. Many of the law breakers are illegal aliens but our county commissioner certainly is not. He cannot say that he was ignorant of the law and expect anyone to believe it. I think he is an embarassment to this county and to the state of Georgia.

Edited to say: Red, if you don't mind a little, short, fat, gray haired, grandmother backing you up, I would be proud to come.

that would be a good idea..................................all the protesters stand up and hold up your valid driver's license............................................................

it makes a point on the Fricks' escapade

it makes a point on the "only unidentified crazy people would do this" RNT typical crap

If only more people, myself included, would stand up for needs to be changed, not only in our community, but across this nation, I believe we could see change. But we sit back and accept things. If we all made a stand like Red, things will happen, people will notice and will be heard. It only takes 1 candle in the dark to make light! Way to go Red! I may not be able to attend any meetings, but I will vote for the right person for the job.

RGS that is a good idea!  THat next meeting is July 8th.  It is a 6 pm.  I am willing to stand next to anyone that wants to express their feelings about the "slap in the the face" that Frick has caused.

Red:  Next meeting will be at 2:00 PM.  For some reason they hold the first meeting of the month at 2:00 PM instead of in the evening.  Frustrates me to no end but thats the way they do it.

I could not get to that meeting because I could not get a babysitter. But, I am determined to get there when Fricks is there. I will line up at least 2 different avenues to get these girls taken care of.

I will make a poster with a mock license on it. No RNT reporter will say my ugly face is 'hidden.'  I'm sick of crooked politics. The Board doesn't 'have' to do anything. But they can ask Fricks to resign and quit being an embarrassment. He taints all of them.

Sorry I let you down Red. I will be there the next time whether you can get there or not. Heck, maybe someone should be at every single meeting from now on - like a constant reminder. "Fricks itch he can't scratch."

MSLA you did not let me down!  You have kids and I understand that.  I am lucky, my hubby was like "GO!!!"  But, If we would have thougth about it 5th AVE Baptist is having bible school this week and Jerrys wife was there and well as Candy.

We do not have to stay the entire meeting.

I would have spoken, but I am not a great speaker.  I talk way to fast at times.  If someone would speak I would be glad to help them with points to bring up.
