The City Pool used to be where the tennis courts, you know, kinda like in the middle of Rome.

Dear Lord!  I thank you for blessing us with the money to get a pool!  Amen

I can not take that anymore after the whole White Water thing a few years back.

Dear Lord, thank you for my new online friend that invites me over to swim thus saving me from the hell on earth torture of the city pool and Diaper City.  Amen.

:P

I would never swim in a public pool. Too much of a chance of getting a disease. Remember the fiasco at White Water with the E-Coli????

Well, tommorow is the last day the pool is open! I CANT WAIT to take my family to the pool tommorow (weather permiting) and swim and say goodbye to the lifeguards! They have been amazing, and I just feel so sorry for the people who got their panties in a wad ONE day at the pool and never returned. Unfortunately my son, who wears floaties somehow came out of one of them while comeing down the slide the other day and the lifeguard at the top told the one at the bottom and the lifeguard at the bottom was waiting in the water before my son even came out. I cant wait for next season to start! I have talked to many of the lifeguards and I know of a couple that will not be working next summer and I am very dissapointed because they were all so great and helpful. My kids absolutely adore everyone of them and cannot stop talking about them hours after we leave the pool.

I assume you do not use public buggies, restrooms, door knobs, tables, or look at magazines in a doctor's office.  E. coli and all kinds of other little goodies are EVERY WHERE!  At least an attempt is made at cleaning the pool and putting chemicals on it.  Wonder how long that magazine at the doctor's office has been sitting there gathering god knows what?

YUCK!
