Some people are just TOO sensitive.  And I don't just mean about race.  There is too much political correctness going on in my opinion.  America is turning people into whining pansies.  Don't call me black.  Don't call me white.  Don't call me fat.  Don't call me skinny.  Don't call me dumb.  Don't call me honey.  I'm sure anyone could post more.  Where does it all end?

You got that right, SR!!! Call me anything you want but late for dinner!!!!

I went to the pool today with PHS band and I have to say that it was great!  The guards were on top of their game!  My son hit his eye on the hand rail going up to the slide with in 5 mins of getting there, and they were so sweet to him!  He is 4, and they saw him hit it before I did (I had turned my head to answer a question. )and was trying to get to him before I could to check on him!   He had a little cut that they doctored and they even gave him a treat!!!

The guards were watching the kids very good.  I did have only one little issue which was with a young man that was there with the group of young kids from the camp in Shannon.  He was playing to little rough and about threw one of the kids on top of my son.  I talked to him and the kids.  The guards did too.

All in all we had a good time!  My son loved the slide and was out for the count as soon as we left!

Ever wonder why Armuchee, Lindale, Coosa, and Model/Shannon don't have a pool .............................................The people who pay the taxes for the services..................................................................... have to drive the furtherest to get a return on their money;.....................and those who pay no taxes................................get to walk across the street and play on our dime.

I would suggest that long term exposure to heavily chlorinated water can be a real changing experience.......

Our society caters to the ones that are to lazy to work, therefore becoming a burden to the hard working tax payers. that goes for pools, welfare and all the other special programs that the government can come up with

romegasir. i must say your opinion is very skewed. before you start some idiotic rant about how the taxpayers are getting screwed by the people that are too lazy to work, i would like to throw out there that that pool has been there for many, many years, and that i am glad that they renovated it instead of putting a new pool in shannon, coosa or armurchee. north rome is not an exact equal distance from those three places but it is closer than having the pool put in armuchee, and then people from lindale, or coosa having to drive all the way out there.
