OMG...hilarious....and so true!!

Oh, so true!  Between the people at the main branch and the debit card problems, I've considered changing banks but I like the idea of the local credit union and don't want to change direct deposit and automatic payments.  At least not so far.......

For the record, I was just mouthing off. I've never been treated rude at either branch.

Oh, and that wasn't directed at Schroeder's either.

I should shut my mouth.  I've run across a couple bank employees who obviously didn't care to be there, but they have some nice ones too.  Customer service people are much nicer than the large places I've dealt with.  I've never had a bad experience at Schroeder's.   I've always loved the one on Broad Street...it's one of my favorite places.

a college eatery that usually has quality food, and the  atmosphere is quite comfortable(downtown location)....however, i have seen a few  minor  questionable  practices , as i have delivered to the kitchen and have had access to their refridgerator, and kitchen area. i have had contact with the employees who showed me into the kitchen area to stock the  delivery items, and  other than unkempt , sort of  ecclectic employees, i found everything to be in order, and of  high quality. the kitchen area at that time...a few years ago) ...they were quite concerned about quality, and  expected me to  perform my delivery job, to help expedite their  duties more successfully. things like stock rotation, and  discarding  of inferior products, and giving ''credit for such items. i generally  have a lot more faith in this establishment, then many.i give shroders a 84 out of a possible 100 points... ..furthermore...., i judge a restaurant by its KITCHEN.all restaurants...   its for my own health, and  safety.... i actually ''look'' into kitchens to see the cleanliness...before i place my order....and if the area is unacceptable...then i will  get the family and we leave and choose someplace else to eat. ....i really dont want to  wake up the next morning with a  delightful case of stomach pains because some lackey in the kitchen decided to take a shortcut and not  maintain cleanliness, either personal, or  restaurant surfaces...or had other  sanitary  habits that were not conducive to overall health. like smoking around back, then entering and fixing food for customers without washing their hands...so take my advice....research your favorite restaurants a little bit..before you buy.....you may enjoy better days of health because of it...

Personally, I've always gone to the downtown Scroders over all of the other places that offer food in the area. I've enjoyed Kaleidasnow (sp?) for many years, and many folks tell me the Icre Cream palor somewhere around the corner of Broad & 4th was good.  1/2 and 1/2 good and bad reviews for La Scala and the newly opened Peach Palace.

When McCrombie's tried to have lunch a few weeks back, a couple of friends went over there and found the offerings slim and the food worse.  I've found Lee's Diner to be overpriced in comparison.

I don't get the chance to check out Harvest Moon, but I hear some good things about them. What about everyone else?

I really like Harvest Moon.  I usually get the build your own turkey sandwich with the broccoli salad for lunch.  I've gone there a few times for dinner and it has been delicious both times.  The last time I went for dinner we got the spring rolls for an appetizer and the filet mignon for dinner.  Dang, I might have to go there tonight!

Gordon Lee, I love the Schroeder's on Broad Street.  Kaleidasnow is also a good place.  I've been to Harvest Moon several times and enjoyed it.  I also like the Mexican place on Broad Street.  My favorite place on Broad continues to be Schroeder's.

I like the Victorian Tea Room. Their offerings are a bit different from what most other places have and I found their prices reasonable.

El Zarape, I believe.  I haven't tried the other places yet.  Some of the places I've liked have come and gone...
