Here is one that will gross you out... I stopped by one of the convience stores that has a deli the other week for a morning biscuit... The lady working in there had just come back in the store from taking out the trash... the lady behind the counter had taken my order but asked the one just coming back in to fix the biscuit... She did not wash her hands... Not wanting to be rude because I buy my gas there all the time, I paid for the biscuit and tossed it in the trash when I got outside.

In that same store, I have since witnessed the deli worker sneezing and wiping her nose with her hand and then serving without washing her hands.

It is also common practice (when they do sometimes wear plastic gloves) to reuse the same pair all day.

At another store, I have witnessed the cashier take someones cash and then go prepare a sandwich at the deli without washing their hands.

Almost makes me wanna stop eating anywhere but home.

I will ensure the Armuchee store reads the forum tonight, and have them also contact John on the main store.

As for wearing gloves at home, no but I do continually wash my hands after everything and also have clorox wipes to clear counters after every item.  But them I am or rather was (let it expire finally) Serv Safe Certified thru the national parks as a lead cook and manager.

I just emailed Johnny. Probably should've called him, but I'm busy working my butt off you know.

On the other (ungloved hand) without germs, our T cells can't learn to program our body's immune systems to fight stuff, so it's kind of like they are doing you a service by being disgusting. (anybody seen the research done on *scroll down if you have the stomach for it* and it's effects on the immune system?)

I had a bad experience there several months ago.  I was trying to use my debit card to pay my bill and for some reason it was rejected.  Instead of the waitress coming to tell us she sends I'm assuming the manager to tell us and he walks up to the top section we were sitting in and goes to 3 other tables with my card asking them if this was their card before finally getting to me.  I was so embarrassed as was my daughter.  I went straight to the bank ATM and got cash and took it back and paid the bill and also called the bank when I got home and they said the system had been down for a few minutes earlier was probably why the transaction would not go through.  I realize the guy at Schroeder's didn't know that, but I really feel he should have made certain whose card he was holding before letting everyone in the place know what was going on.   We used to be fairly regular customers there but we've never returned after that embarrassing experience.  :?

He was wondering if you banked at NWGACU.  I'd be willing to bet WH has had issues with them in the past.
