I have received numerous emails tonight about a tragic accident that needs our prayer.  A young child Avery Silver who is the grandchild of Mike and Gail Silver of Lindale fell off of a changing table today and is in critical condition at this time in Atlanta.  The child had to be airlifted with a severe brain bleed and had emergency surgery, at this time it is very critical and every hour tonight is critical.  Please say a prayer tonight for this child.  Thank You

Oh Lord, thats awful. I went to school with Avery's father, and just could not imagine what they are going through. I will definitely keep them in my prayers.

Avery is the daughter of Ryan Silver.  She came out of surgery about 8:0pm last night.  At 4:00 am they did a CT and said there is brain damage.  They are keeping her in a medically induced coma hoping some of the swelling will go down.  They said she is the #1 critical care patient at Scottish Rite.  Please continue to remember this family.  Gail, the grandmother, is a teacher and the cheerleading coach at PHS.

Does anyone know the age of Avery?  Someone said she was walking already.  How sad.  I do not know the whole Silver clan but Mike is a great guy and works out at Sears.  My husband worked with him for awhile.  We also played against them in softball (never had a chance) and they are a great group of guys.  I will be praying for her and strength for the family.

She will be 2 on the 16th of this month.  One new piece of info I have received was that this happened while she was at daycare.

Prayers for them. I remember Mr. Silver helping us at Sear's. What a nice guy!:(

Unfortunately, state law requires a lot of things that dont happen.  I feel so blessed that I can work at home and my children didnt have to go until pre-k.  Then they can tell me what happens.  A friend of ours son got a broken leg at daycare (severely) and they didnt even call the parents.  They just thought he was crying for hours just to be crying.  I cannot imagine being mom getting that call.  :(

Our children are the best things in our lives and I pray this little girl will fully recover. Her family has a hard time ahead but prayer will make all the difference. I will not forget them in mine.
