| Nope.... my Dad is safe and sound and enjoying his retirement, however, there are prolly numerous cases of this kind of family violence across the country. Lots of this type of "brotherly love" shown on the local Chattanooga news.

I'd defend my family, if they were in the right. Depends on the situation. No, I wouldn't defend them for something they truly did wrong. I also wouldn't have the attitude you have.
Who are you going to call if you ever need help? What you refer to as the "pigs"? I can assure you they will help when needed. I prefer to call them Police Officers though.
You want respect? You need to earn it.
I'm sorry you are in this mess, but there's no reason to come on here and be so angry.
News is public. Whether it's videos, or just on paper. Personally, I like to be informed. You never know who your neighbors are.

Exactly.... and it wasn't until the late 70's when marital rape became a crime, too. I hope the percentage continues to drop, however, this type of value system which considers family violence to be "private" matters is like a family legacy, being passed down from one generation to another.
Offspring, as they mature, will have lots of opportunities to discover what they may have taught as acceptable as youngsters, really is not. It will be at that point of discovery, they will either make a conscientious decision to either reject the values they grew up with, or embrace them. This is where the cycle can be broken....

Well I too would defend my family if they earned the defense, however once the police got involved it was no longer a private matter. So it was your family that should have kept it private not the people on here or the one shooting the video. He was just doing his job. Sorry.......

MEK I have know you and your family for a long time, and I am sad for you, your cousins, and your wonderful grandmother. I hate that all this keeps happening to you.
You have to make a decisions to not repeat your father's mistake and make a good life for yourself. I just wish the two of those guys would get their lives together. I remember when we all use to have fun and good times, way before drugs affected both of our families.
Im glad your dad is ok. And my ex is not on drugs anymore, he is clean and that is why he doesn't live here. I hope all the best for you and your family, especially you, you deserve a better hand then what life has dealt you.

| That information is inaccurate kenny. The female was Not with the suspect. She left on foot when the altercation started. The suspect was looking for her when he was apprehended.

That information is inaccurate. The girlfriend left the scene on foot before the stabbing occured. The suspect was in the area looking for her when he was caught.

| Sorry I just assumed that he had caught up with her and her being in the car was why they detained her. I don't know why they picked her up then if she was not with them. Guess that is why they let her go.
