Look Polk mom if polk county was represented and you know that then where the H*** were you with your wisdom, or is helping folks below you. I understand you have a right to your opinion but unless you were there then you have no horse in this race so go home and keep the comments to yourself.

Funny that you just mentioned that now, so you really do not know anything that happened down there because you was in bartow county, right?

I'm not criticizing anyone just those who seem intent on blaming someone when they really don't seem interested in knowing what actually occurred.  I doubt anyone here, myself included, was privy to the first conversation between Polk and Floyd counties.   Now, this whole deal about bashing Polk Co. would have much more credibility if the account given in the Rome News Tribune was actually discounted.  And I'll be the first to say I don't care for some of our commissioners.

I'll bet there are a few on here who probably were privy to the first conversation, you evidently do not know the people with who you argue.:D

THANK GOD for the fact I don't know them!   So, these people "in the know" were there when Mrs. Anderson called from Florida????   So easy to call someone a liar when you don't know what you're talking about.   The very first comment relates how a few people related their impression ... I prefer to keep an open mind until I know what actually happened.  Of course, that's not near as much fun.

The proof is in the pudding, or in this case the working. It was FLOYD county people out there helping when it should have been Polk first on scene. Not that any of them minded. That's just who they are. They help regardless. You could have so easily just said "thanks for helping". Instead you take away from what they did by discounting what Polk did not do.

Well i know you have probably never worked a real job Polkmom much less one in public safety so you do not understand, when someone takes a job as an EMA DIRECTOR they understand that they may have to put their lives on hold when duty calls, no different than a DR or NURSE,FF or POLICE OFFICER. So the truth is that you are not worth arguing with over things that you could never understand.

Yeah and who was sent home after the fact by their EMS director when they tried to help. You don't know everything, so just face it.

YOU?

I hope you're never on a jury .. why have a trial?  I never said I knew anything about it .. but after reading the ludicrous story I had at least 10 questions that he didn't even broach.   And not to mention he didn't even bother to talk with the person he so quickly threw under the bus.  Crap, I will be the first to say when someone says they think OJ was guilty "oh, were you there?"  I wasn't!   I subscribe to the wisdom of my dad who told me at an early age not to believe everything I read.   Newspapers don't exactly have perfect reputation .. they want to sell papers.   I believe someone posted the names of our commissioners .. it may be more productive to call one of them.

maybe that has to do with the fact that floyd can't pick up in polk. if they could i'm sure they would have been happy to. what this entire thread was about, if you had paid any attention, was about the afterwards. where were the polk county folks when the pieces were  being picked up? as a matter of fact, while you are so busy downing the folks that were out there, where were you? you were asked this before and neatly skirted the issue. do you even have an answer?

you want to know the truth, there were probably several people  "helping" to load the injured into an ambulance. any johnny off the street can help, but were you there helping?

oh you can bet the commisioners phones are ringing off the hook, but then again it wasn't your house and one of your family members killed so who cares right. Just go back and watch Dr phil and stay out of stuff you have no clue about.
