| I think the 101 is the structure fire from a lightening strike. Road is closed due to hoses being across the road.

Greatest tornadic threat at the moment is between 27 and 101 ... TV came back on. Police department - 3 miles NE of Cedartown are seeing several tornado touch downs, according to Atlanta news. Now passing just to the North of Rockmart heading up 101. Just on scanner now too.

I am trying to listen to scanner rewind
scanner at home
and my daughter is calling from Cingular scared to death
they are packed into restrooms like sardines
my son in law spotted the tornado as he and the kids were pulling into the driveway at their house...they live in Lake Creek area
Hwy 278..Power outage
nickle size hail just came through Jackson Chapel area... headed toward Cedartown

They are reporting dime size hail in Cave Spring.
According to ATL news, the actual tornado is heading towards C'ville now.

west rome near oaknoll hill - skies have brightened but we can hear the thunder. it's awfully quiet over the last 15 mins or so here.
there goes the weatheradio again,
severe t-storm warning for southern floyd, northern polk, until 1:10pm or so. storm located near cave spring - lindale and aregon in the path.

| Weather is not my forte', however ATL weather just said the V something confirms they are definite tornados. Not confirming touch-down's yet. But the "cell" is close to 411/Cartersville now.
