Now certainly Southern Outlaw's second and third sentance are correct, however it has nothing to do with the first amendment. The messages posted hear are stored on a private server. You have been granted permission to place data on the private server because you asked for permission. Since it is a private server owned and operated by a private person/organization he can limit/restrict/allow/dis-allow/censor/etc as he pleases.
It is common place on american owned servers that American rights, privledges, and responsibilities are extended to the users by the server owner/operator but they are by no means guaranteed.
The statement "First Admendment is a real pain aint it guy?" has no bearing on weather or not the poster is allowed to view or post data to the server.
I see this mentality on a few forums that have more of an international flavor and it's always interesting to see americans try to toss around ideas such as they have a right to post a certain way.
I for one thank JD and the folks who provide him the server for extending american rights, within reason, to us.
Please do not take this as a personal attack on SouthernOutlaw, I am merely trying to point out the fallacy of anyone having the 'right' to be here and justifying it with the American Constitution.
Feel free to flame away. I'll ignore most of it as I usually do.

You are absolutly correct! My statement on the First Admendment has no bearing what-so-ever on the weather!
Yes you are right, the First Admendment does not cover private forums such as this and I thought about that after I posted it, however, I will still say what I think as it is up to the individual whether or not they read it. Good catch though!

ah yes, the 1st amendment only guarantees that the Government can't shut you up. Just like the 4th amendment against unreasonable search and seizure only guarantees that the Government can't do it.
Private folks can violate both with impunity
