OH how I can't stand Moby. I actually know an afternoon guy from 107. and he says that it wasn't "South 107" that decided on Moby, but the uppers that brought him to wreak havoc here in our town.
I have a wonderful spouse that pays for my XM each month. I loves me my XM in the car. I love my XM so much that last year my mom bought me the house radio. I take my radio from the car and wow it goes in the base inside and I can rock the house too.

| Moby in the morning....hmmm... an ATLANTA tradition?....yep, because WTSH fm reaches the atlanta listening area, it brings moby back to the atlanta area -per-se.. anyways....there are so many people in marietta, and north atlanta that are listening to WTSH fm ,so they probably want to target that particular demographic/target audience.... -ever notice that the traffic reports on WTSH fm are atlanta area oriented... not too many traffic accidents reported on shorter avenue in rome on the big 107.... mostly ATLANTA traffic.... because they are trying to capture some of the Atlanta radio book.... .....arbitron...baby...arbitron....

I haven't liked Moby since day one. After a few days of listening to his trash in the morning I e-mail the gen mgr and voiced my disapproval. I also told them I didn't appreciate them using south 107 to allow him to sell his snake oil diet crap.
Of course they didn't respond but I no longer tune in 107 in the morning either.

His show reminds me of my youth in seeing a "medicine show" come to town and hawk it's miracle "snake oil". They later outlawed most of those products. It really turns me off to hear him. I sometimes switch back to south 107 later in the day only hear a taped ad about him and his snake oil, then I think better and push another preset button.
I don't like his holier than thou politics. He reminds me too much of Rush and Sean and a few others that I have forgotten thier names because I turn them off as soon as I recognize thier voices. Which is what I do to him also.
