Welcome to the Rome Newswire forums. We are glad you have chosen to take advantage of this local forum, but would like to share with you some guidelines that will make your, and other people's stay here a pleasant one.
Behave. No obscene language. No racial slurs. No adult topics. No spamming. No links to adult sites, warez or hacker sites, or any site that the poster knows has embeded viruses, trojans, key loggers, etc. No flaming; if you want to argue, take it to private messaging, or be adult about it and let it go.
Edit: Be respectful towards each other at all times. Threads where disrepect and meanness are displayed will be closed. People who show a tendancy to be ugly and disrespectful will be taken out to the shed for a talkin' to. (pm from moderators with a mild warning) We don't like doing this, as it takes away from our solitaire time, so please behave, thank you.
Be advised of one simple truth: This is a forum, not a democracy. This forum is provided publicly, but is in fact a private forum (you registered to have the right to post, remember?). Therfore, it is the right of the owner of the forums, and his appointed admins and moderators to decide exactly what is appropriate for this forum at all times. Some of you may post something that gets edited, removed, or causes you to be banned immediately from the forums (in most cases you will be warned beforehand, though). Be advised that there will be no recourse for you. You will be banned permanently if it ever comes to that. Please don't make anyone here do that. We want a fun place for people to come and share ideas, news, recipes, etc. By abusing the forums, you take this away from your fellow citizens.
