Ate there today.  Excellent.  Had chicken tenders with a sauce that was a mix of the hot sauce and the barbeque.  they put just enough sauce on it to make it perfect and very large portions for reasonable price.  Life partner had the pork bbq sandwich and it was excellent and he or she couldn't eat it all for a very reasonable price.  the drinks are all you can drink refills if you eat in.

The manager walked around and checked on everyone and I heard him explaining that they would be serving some new sauces soon.  We spent about $16 and we have enough for a light dinner left over.

I'm in no way affiliated with this establishment.

Here is a link to the menu (without prices):

They have chicken wings ....... it's a MUST lunch for me then. It appears the wings are served with dressing AND celery (unlike WOW).  RGS, do you remember how much the wings or the tenders were ?  $16 isn't bad at all for what you two had.

We had Shane's for dinner tonight.  We went with a large family group so I got to try a bite of a lot of different things.  I wasn't overly impressed.  Their tag line should not really be "It's gonna get messy."  It didn't...lol  Anyway, here's all the things we had on our table and whether they were good... We all always try to get something different when we go somewhere new so we can all try it....

Chicken tenders-had a neat little garlic salt sprinkle on them.  I only tried the garlic salt b/c I don't like fried foods.  Kids said the chicken tenders were yummy.

baby back ribs-were good, tender enough to slice apart with a plastic knife for eating, sauce is a little "not spicy enough for my taste"

collard greens--pretty good

corn on the cob--eh, can make it better at home

BBQ chicken-kinda dry but okay

BBQ pulled pork-- surprisingly good and I'm pretty picky about this!!

mac and cheese--eh, all right

toast--about the same as Zaxby's

Brunswick stew---surprisingly good also

cheese stix-all right

I had the six piece chicken tenders (it's the medium size) and it was like $6 and some change with $1 and some change for the drink................I could eat four of them, they're very large and they are BY FAR the best chicken fingers in Rome.....even better than Zaxbys which I love.............The french fries are "3 sided" fries which makes them a bit crispier than regular fries, but I liked 'em............You can choose any side in place of the fries which includes mac and cheese, fried okra and some other stuff, lol.

My significant life partner had the "big daddy" or "big boy", something like that, which was a humongous pork sandwich with fries.........it was $5 or $6 with change and the drink................we had the leftovers for supper and we're full (although my life partner is complaining that we're out of popcorn)......

I was impressed with the prices, the service and the quality of food......hopefully it's a new trend in Rome.  It was odd to not be looked at woefully by the meth-head server with a "god I bet you have all kinds of scrap metal in your yard that my boyfriend could sell" attitude, and bringing out the exact opposite of what I ordered with a "nailed-it" look on her face.........I'm sure they'll come around eventually.

oh yeah I forgot

fried okra--the standard but okay...I ate one piece..

french fries--didn't eat them but the kiddies loved them.

And I agree with RGS, the portions are generous.  For the three of us, it was $30,  that was for two BBQ chicken sandwich combos and one small BBrib plate that was not so small.  All the rest of the food was shared from families plates....

Were the fries additional, or included with the 6 pc for $6 ?

included.........the chicken fingers says "comes with fries" but they offered any side that I wanted in place of the fries.  The pork sandwich said 'comes with one side".  Also I paid for the large drinks b/c I didn't realize the drinks were self-serve, so I could've gotten the meal about 60 cents cheaper.  I did see the shirts that warned about getting messy while eating, but my chicken fingers were breaded with the hot/bbq sauce mix and they were not messy at all....just enough sauce

On this bill, the half rack baby back ribs were 12.99 with 2 sides.  The rest was the combos.  It's 1.99 to make a sandwich a combo.  The sandwiches are anywhere from 4.99 to 5.99 or so.  You can get ANY side, it does not have to be fries, even with the sandwiches.

You sold me.  That is a DEAL for $6.  And, I am all for good food at a good price.  I don't know anywhere you can get 6 big chicken fingers (with sauce) and fries for $6.
