We usually go to the one in Kennesaw, but went to the Rome opening tonight. We had very good food as always, although the food took a very long time (as expected with a new restaurant.) All in all, we were very happy with our experience there.

I got onion tempura, terryaki steak and chicken and the salad and soup that comes with it.  Everyone at the table shared a variety of sushi too.

One thing that sucked though was that we never got any napkins, even after asking for them.  :(

That's when you go get them yourself. Trust me, they notice then!;)

I think the funniest thing is when Spice took the dirty dishes to the kitchen when they were eating at Chili's. LMAO @ her!

I had lunch there... food was great but service and speed were not... but hey, its a new place and they will get it smoothed out!

Great price too... I was surprised! I had shrimp fried rice and three selections from the dollar sushi menu.

It was under 10 bucks!

My husband and I went for dinner last night.  I overheard one of the servers telling a table that most of the waitstaff had only been hired that day!  But we had really good service.  And our dinner was only $22 for two people.  We really liked it and will definitely go back!

We went for lunch yesterday.  The service was slow - we were there about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment, so we got up and got our own menus.  We finally flagged down one of the waiters (owners?) and he took our order.  I got the teriyaki chicken (which came with soup, salad, steamed rice, and vegetables) and a California Roll and it was about $8.

You are right about the wait staff... i was told that they only had 3.... Seriously!!!!

Plus, at least one of them had only been hired the night before.

So... all in all, I think once they get the service better, they are goin to be a great place to eat.

As a matter of fact, I am planning on going back for lunch today.

Can't beat the value... I just need to set aside a couple hours for lunch! lol

I went on Saturday and enjoyed it.  I got a chance to eat at Ru San's quite a bit when I lived in Athens and the Rome location hit the mark food wise.  My waiter was a little confused and slow but was not surprised since it was a new.

the wait staff seems to be learning as they go but it gets better every time I go.

I still think they are going to struggle with the parking...

The lot (in front of Rusans and Troys) was PACKED at lunch today but they (Rusans) were only about 1/3 full... I bet they will loose some business due to the parking. Not such a big deal at Troys because the other lot is right next to them but with Rusans, they are competing with Troys for the little parking that is there in front.

People around here are lazy and will drive on before parking more than a few feet from the door... :D

I went to RuSan's today.  The food was really good.  I would definitely go back.  And the waitress we had was great.  No waiting or lines.
