My husband and I ate there over the weekend with a good friend of ours.  We had very good service and the quality of the food and sushi was excellent.  We go at least once a month if not more often and have never had anything thing that was less than top quality.  The prices are a little higher, but with the "show" that you receive while they are cooking your food that should be expected.

I love Sumo's - my friends and I call their fried rice (with the white sauce poured over it of course!) "crack rice" because it is so addictive.  You must have went on a bad night or it might have been the cook's first day.  You should give it another try.

I've never had a problem with Sumo.  My only problem is that I don't go there very often.

I think Sumo's business would be much better if they didn't name it after big fat guys in underwear.

I am a Sumo fan...of course I don't eat Sushi, only the chicken and "crack rice" (which made me LOL but is an absolutely appropriate name for it!)

never had it.  did have an interesting trip to wendy's on shorter ave. tonight.  ordered a combo meal with a baked potato instead of fries.  well they put fries on the tray and when i told them i had a baked potato instead, they tossed the fries that had sat on my tray back under the lights with all of the other fries that had been there since lunch.
