I ate at Five Guys earlier after a friend told me I'd like it.

It was one of the best burgers I've ever had! Fries are good too (they serve them in styrofoam:P) They also have hot dogs, but I have yet to try them.

While the food is very good, the menu is very small.

Overall, I'd give them an A.

I liked it too! Although it was expensive for a burger...

i ate there on tuesday and was left unimpressed.  for all the build up of how good they were supposed to be, their burger didn't "wow" me like i was hoping.  i'll pay half the price and head to wendy's.

I have to agree with this. The fries are VERY expensive. I realize they make them there, but $4.79 a cup and an extra scoop is a little (alot?) high.

I think Fuddrucker's has the burger beat though, and a bigger menu.

**runs and hides in case someone from there reads this**:P

I liked Fuddruckers the first few times I ate there, but it was absolutely awful the last two times! It soured me on it for a while.:(

You may be amazed at this, but IHOP makes some great hamburgers. They're again expensive, but you'll know why when you see them, there huge!:P

Also, Uncle John's BBQ on Maple St. next to CVS makes good hamburgers that are huge too. I like theirs because they bbq the patties and they have a hickory-smoked taste. They're pretty good on the price though.

We tried to go eat there for lunch the other day and the line was out the door.  I'll try it again in a few weeks.

We ate there yesterday and I thought it was pretty good. The burger was great, but from the way everyone talked about the fries I was expecting them to be wonderful! However, they were not. They were just not hot and just really didn't do anything for me. It is expensive though!

Seems to me I can do the same at home plus more. Maybe they need to update their menu a little. No reason for me to go there. Sounds alright for people who do not cook at home and want something a little different out of a burger besides McDonalds.

OK guys, I finally had a chance to eat at 5 guys. And coming from someone who loves the one in Kennesaw, I have to say I was DISAPPOINTED! The burgers and fries were overcooked. It was NOT good! I have been looking forward to eating there since they opened. Since I don't live in Rome and with the gas prices the way they are.....I had to wait until I had another reason to be in Rome. The cheese was not even melted on the burger, I hate that. If you want a good 5 guys burger, go to the one in Kennesaw on Hwy 41.

We haven't been back. It's just too pricey for such a small menu. :?

Like another person posted, the cheese wasn't melted on ours either.
