For starters I would like to say that I have always loved Shroders pizza.....until tonight.

I called at 9:30 and asked what time they closed the girl told me 10. So I asked her if it was too late to place a take out order and she said no. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and sausage for my husband and I. She told me it would be ready in 5 min. I live real close so I left right after I placed the order. I would say it took me 7 minutes to get there. When I went in they were pretty empty...had 4 tables 2 of which left while I was waiting. I had to wait 10 min on it. So my 5 min order took 20 min. I didn't think that was a big deal because the pizza is worth it. So I get home take the pizza out of the boxes and am just extremely disappointed. First they were not even hot...and it wasn't the short drive that made them MAYBE luke warm. The bread is extremely tough...I can't even cut it with a fork! Lol, I know a lot of people don't use utensils with pizza but I do! There is also NO cheese on it hardly at all! It's not even covered. You could prob see 50% cheese on top and 50% bread. And to top all that off I think they left the dang sauce off! It's just awful. I would have to say this is the worst pizza I have ever ordered out from anywhere. I can't even eat it. So, dominos is now on it's way! I really hate it and I understand it was closing time but it's still not acceptable at all!

BTW, this pic was taken about 5 min after I got home, so it's not like I let it sit forever.

Yeah, a lot of times they aren't. By the time I paid for it and gas I wasted $10 going over there. I will be contacting the manager on Monday as well. Not that it will do any good...

I have always had good food from there. I say call and complain, I think John would be more understanding and should make it up to you.

As for the Armuchee store, I have been there (to eat) one time and from what I remember the food was good that night. Of course, Deaglos could probably answer that better than me cause I know he eats there.. (I saw him)... lol

yuck! I am a freak when it comes to stuff like that... I get all torn up when at Waffle House I see them cut raw meat, chicken, etc in the same spot they slice the cooked sandwiches after at most wiping it with a wet cloth....

Can you say cross contamination!

Oh yeah well when I was in there tonight there was a salad in the window and this girl asked if some chicken tenders went on it and the guy told her yeah. So she was holding the chicken in the paper stuff or whatever and asked the girl running the register how to get em on there without dropping them so the girl grabbed them with her BARE hands, put them on top of the salad and went and served the salad. NASTY.

I do think we'd all be surprised if we watched ANY restaurant prepare food.

I know one time we were at Chili's and they seated us facing the kitchen. My hubby and I both observed them making salads with bare hands. Literally picking up things and dropping it on the salad with bare hands.

State needs to pop in these places unexpected. No one seems to wear gloves!!!:X

John is not the problem at the main Schroeders.  They guy doing the bookkeeping is the problem.  He wants to cut and cut and cut the food and keep raising the prices and it has really gotten ridiculous.  I've actually had servers in there tell me that they are embarassed that the prices have gotten so high.  It's like 8.99 or something for the potato things that my mom likes so much and that's with only bacon and mushrooms.  It's just to the point of being silly now.  We go ONLY when I can't wait any longer for a ham roll and my mom is jonesing for a veggie.
