What about this new 5 Brothers? Never heard of it until now. Is it a burger place? Personally I would like to see a great steak place open. Since Long Horns and Outback are chains, they could use some competition. Santa Fe is ok... I am looking for a steak place that will knock your socks off! Haven't found one locally. Ya'll have a great day!

Well at least that is good to know. You know, Rome must have the most resturants for a city this size. If you are hungry when come to Rome and can't a place... something must be wrong!
We may have to drive out of town to work...but by golly we can eat here!

5 brothers is really good. Their fries are also good! They are cut from potatoes, fresh in the store. A friend got me a gift card for Christmas, and I would have to say I loved the gift. LOL We eat there when we go to Kennesaw. There is one on Hwy 41. I am glad one is coming to Rome!

Ok, I ventured out for lunch today ... went to Five Guys Burgers & Fries. I will say that unless you are absolutely STARVING, order the LITTLE burgers LOL. The item that just says hamburger or cheeseburger, is a DOUBLE burger. The small fries are in a medium size styrofoam cup ($2.79) and I couldn't eat them all either. I spent almost $8 with no drink, but could not finish. The LITTLE burger was less expensive and with the fries would have been plenty. It wasn't anything spectactular, but it was pretty good food. No drive-thru, no trays if you eat in, it's all brown bags. You order at the counter (like Zaxby's) and then they call your #. I swear there were 20 people behind the counter on the assembly line to make the burgers. I'll go back, but I will get the LITTLE burger.

When did you go? We were there about 11:20. Got right in and ordered. After we sat down the rush started and by the time we got our food there were 6-8 people in line at all times.
They got mine wrong but I did not notice until I had eaten half of it so I let it go. Also we could not tell much difference in the size of my regular and her small, although either were plenty for a normal eater. The fries were great.
Don't let the fries fool you. I love fries so when I saw the size of the regular I looked at my wife and said no-no gotta have the large. They tell you they pile the fries on top of the cup but what they don't tell you is that they fill the bag with them too! After pulling the burgers and fry cup out of the bag, I still had enough to make a good sized order of fries in the bag.
Overall a good meal. Couple of things I overheard others talking about.......evidently you can order your fries seasoned. A couple of guys at the next table asked an employee for some cajun seasoning, mentioning that they had forgotten to order them that way. (Wish I had known that!) She promptly brought him some before his order was even ready. The same guy was telling his friend that it was a no frills place....come in, order your burger, sit down, chow down, and get out!
Don't plan on much conversation. Lots of noise, mostly from the 20+ staff huddled over the 4 or so grills, reminded me of the varsity with the red shirts and all the noise and bustle.

We went about 6:15 tonight. We REALLY liked it. It was crowded but fast service!
The 20+ staff will drive you crazy hollering back and forth and doing their thing while you are trying to hear the person taking the order, but it's a gr8 place!!

| Pano and Pauls is great to go for a special occasion. I lived in Cobb so that was the last time I went there.
