Well, I went to ws today for lunch.

The steak, potato,roll. was $11.00

Drink I think was $1.79

A salad to go with meal $3.50

And uncle sam all totaled better than $17.00 for lunch.

The same thing used to cost $13.00 not long before the sale.

I hope they do well, it won't be on my dime anymore.

WS has alot of really good and cheap lunch menus. We go often. They are like $4.99 a meal. The sirloin tips are really good. Comes with baked potato and bread. :D

HATE the sirloin tips............the few times I had it because it was on "special", I felt as if I was chewing on ear plugs.......................the salad is always good, and the baked potato bar goes well with the well-portioned baked potatoes...............but the meat and price are both unsatisfactory........................

I agree. Potato bar and salad bar aren't too bad.  You can get plenty of grilled chicken on your salad (although it tends to be somewhat stringy sometimes), but not bad at all for the price.

We went to Western Sizzlin a few nights ago. No more grilled chicken on the salad bar! The crutons (toast) was burnt, or hard as a brick. The dressing was so watered down it ran off the dipper when you tried to put it on the salad.

My order was totally wrong and had to wait for the right order to be cooked. The waitress (she's been there for YEARS) poured coke in my glass of tea when she refilled it.

What were we thinking going back there?? :?

Cool. OK, it is only worth it to get the bar if the grilled chicken is there.  Hmm, guess I'll call first.  Thanks.
