Has anyone heard anything on this? I heard that some kids went missing at the fair. There was a bulletin on Myspace saying to pray for the kids that went missing at the fair that they are safe and unharmed.

Last night a little girl was separated from her parents for about two hours.  There was an all out search by security and fair officials, and I was in front of the fair office when she was reunited with her family.  I was told, but am not sure, that during the time she was missing, three other kids and their parents were separated, but quickly reunited.  It is so easy for them to dash away when you look away for a split second.  Please, if you take your kids to the fair, hold onto their hands!  That seems like common sense, and it is, but it only takes a split second and really loving parents can be separated from their really good kids.  There is so much for them to look at and do, and they just don't realize their gone until it's too late.

We took the kids on Tuesday and it was tough trying to keep all of mine together because they all wanted to do certain things and were extremely excited so they would just dart one way or the other...

I was scared to death that I was going to loose one.

I can't imagine what those parents felt when they could not find their child... I would have been freaking out!

LOL-mine is 18 and I still worry. When 9 pm rolls past and he isn't home. 10 pm 11pm. After that I'm really worried. Just last week, around 11:30 2 of his friends was on the way here to our home to stay the night. In 2 separate cars. We had already got ready for bed, when someone drove up and was pounding quickly on the front door. Hubby opened the door and was told that the other friend had wrecked less than 1/4 mile from our home. Jerked clothes on, grabbed flashlights and headed up the road. There he was, had plowed through a neighbors cow pasture, fence and wrecked against a culbert next to the driveway. He was fine except his wrist got a chemical burn from the air bag deploying. But, his car was totaled. This wasn't our kid, but there we was with him and got him home (ours) near 1 am. His mom begged me and made me promise to keep a watchful eye on him during the night in case of a concusion. I told her I would. Then told hubby, only if she knew I am the mom who gets blamed for being overly protective (even if its not my kids.) LOL
