http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jIMJWupyWNmvU3UX2aGhICmZrQ_wD92U1TN00 Palin's 17 yo unwed daughter is 5 months pregnant. The article says there were already rumurs and speculation circulating that Palin's 5-month-old son was actually her daughter's and that she pretended it was hers to cover up for her......

First of all, I don't like Obama, nor do I like McCain. Nothing new there, I didn't like Hillery either. The problem is, they are politicians and I don't like most politicians. I didn't like Hillerys lies about running under gunfire, or the put on accent when attending a black church. I didn't like that Obama could stand with a straight face and essentially state that he didn't realize that his preacher of 20 years was racist, eventhough, he sat in the mans church and heard the remarks. I guess he must have slept through the sermon. Of course he was very quick to dissasociate himself from his preacher. And, I don't like Biden! It happened 35 years ago yet it is still painful for Joe Biden to talk about. In 1972, a week before Christmas and roughly six weeks after Biden was elected to be a U.S. Senator, his wife Neilia and his little daughter were killed in a car crash by a drunk driver. He also ran for presidency in 1988 but withdrew after he admitted plagiarising a speech by the then leader of the British Labour Party, Neil Kinnock. In 2007, he described Mr Obama as "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy". “Let me tell you a little story,” he was quoted as saying last Friday in the New York Times. “I got elected when I was 29, and I got elected November the 7th. And on December 18 of that year, my wife and three kids were Christmas shopping for a Christmas tree. A tractor-trailer, a guy who allegedly – and I never pursued it – drank his lunch instead of eating his lunch, broadsided my family and killed my wife instantly, and killed my daughter instantly, and hospitalized my two sons, with what were thought to be at the time permanent, fundamental injuries.” From The Cedar Rapids Gazette, December 19, 1972: Mrs. Biden and the couple’s 18-month-old daughter Amy were killed and the Bidens’ two young sons were injured. Joseph, 4, sustained leg injuries; Robert, 3, suffered head injuries. Also hospitalized was the truck driver, Curtis C. Dunn, 43, of Avondale, Pa. Police said the station wagon “pulled from a stop sign” and was struck on the left side by the truck, “continuing approximately 150 feet, spinning around, going backwards down an embankment, and striking three trees.” Except there was no drinking. There was not even speeding. The truck’s brakes checked out, as well. It was not the driver’s fault. Biden insisted Wednesday in a brief telephone interview from Iowa he told the story as he knew it. “All I said was what I heard at the time. What I heard from folks at the time is he’d been drinking,” Biden said, sounding agitated. “I don’t want to talk about it. . . . She must have pulled out. . . . It’s still painful to talk about 35 years later.” The embellishment is reminiscent of one of the problems that undid Biden the last time he ran for president 20 years ago. He was swallowed up mostly by plagiarism charges, but there was also an incident, taped by C-SPAN, in which Biden became irritated with a New Hampshire voter and belittled him by inflating his own uneven academic credentials. Among Biden’s claims, he said he was named the outstanding student in political science at the University of Delaware and was in the top half of his law school class at Syracuse University, both untrue, and won an international moot court competition, which was true. He also gibed, “I’d be delighted to sit down and compare my IQ to yours.” http://www.delawaregrapevine.com/12-07bidencrash.asp

I really don't want to be one of those "spelling correcton guys", but her name is spelled P A L I N. I've noticed a few calling her Pilan. If it was just a word I wouldn't say anything, but this is a name and I think everyone should agree that if it were your names you all would want it to be spelled right. Sorry!

Curtis C Dunn, The driver of the Tractor trailer, the man whose life was ruined by Joe Biden. Right up there with despicable things one human can do to another, is falsely accusing the innocent of a crime. Biden says he never pursued the case in his wife and daughter's death. The court certainly did. The driver was never charged and was cleared of any wrong doing. Mrs. Biden, driving a station wagon full of kids and a Christmas tree pulled into the truck’s path. The driver, also a victim, had not been drinking and for the years before his death his reputation suffered with the false charge that Biden put out in the public for sympathy and political gain. Although there have been some allegations that the truck driver "drank his lunch," no charges were filed. A short investigation of the accident showed no speeding, drinking, or faulty equipment caused the crash, although Biden did not pursue the case to the fullest extent of the law in the weeks following the accident. There is some speculation that Neilia was distracted by the children and either accelerated or drifted through the intersection, though this cannot be confirmed 35 years later any more than whether or not the truck driver was at fault. http://www.hsinjurylaw.com/news.cfm#News5534

TheOriginalGaGirl wrote: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jIMJWupyWNmvU3UX2aGhICmZrQ_wD92U1TN00I was 17 years old, unwed, and pregnant. My husband and I have now been married over 8 years. We have two wonderful children, college degrees, our own house, two cars, a cat, a dog, and a nice steady income. Our kids are great kids. We hope they can learn from our mistakes and align themselves more closely with the morals and values we should have at 17. Kudos to Palin for being their for her child. Bristol can succeed, just as we did with the support of family. So what exactly is the point you are trying to make? Sarah won't make a good VP because her teenage daughter is pregnant?

I agree.. her daughter's situation has little bearing on the parent, especially at 17. She is taking responsibility for her situation and her parents are supporting her and her decision. Hardly news that will have any effect on a campaign.

Wonder how many unwed mothers are in Floyd county alone, and where were the parents when they were engaging in sex with those guys?

TheOriginalGaGirl wrote: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jIMJWupyWNmvU3UX2aGhICmZrQ_wD92U1TN00 This right here is the reason I think we have so few people willing to run for political office anymore. I had CNN on when the latest "Breaking News" had this tantalizing tidbit of information. The pregnancy of Gov Palin's daughter really has absolutely no bearing on her ability to be a Vice President. I will sit here and pick apart her political stances and experience (or lack thereof) until the cows come home, but I will not start discussing private, personal matters that have no relevance to her candidacy.

Obama admitted he was born when his mother was 18, unless she graduated early she would have still been in school when she became pregnant. Any ways Obama even stated he did not want for that to be an issue.
