Yep! Me too!

One worker caught in Monday's sweep at the Howard Industries transformer plant said fellow workers applauded as immigrants were taken into custody.

They don't understand? You think by now they don't know what the consequences of being illegal are?

"There was no communication, an immediate loss of any kind of news and a lack of understanding of what's happening to their loved ones,"

Those detained were from Brazil, El Salvador, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, and Peru, said Barbara Gonzalez, an ICE spokeswoman.

Spice- you enlightened me, again, by naming off all of the different nationalities that could be and are here illegally. We have a problem here in the United States that runs much deeper than i had even thought. And you have an idea how I think. That is indeed an interesting read. I accept that being armed w/the proper knowledge will lead to proper action(s) that can and should be taken by all of us that are concerned w/the immigrant problem.

The one pastor or assitent pastor or whatever declared that the people were treated like criminals. They are criminals aren't they? They are here illegally. WTF do they they think of themselves? That they are innocent? Reckon the ones detained on false id's and fraudulant social security numbers think all that is just straight up and legal? That they have done nothing wrong? It is mind boggling. HUNDREDS at that one location. Think about ALL those everywhere else.

Treelimb, just a bit more enlightenment. It's not an immigrant problem, it's an illegal alien problem. Illegal means against the law, alien means intruder. Immigrants are those who are in the country legally, most of our ancestors were immigrants with the exception of the Native Americans (that's the politically correct name, but I played cowboys and Indians, not cowboys and Native Americans).

We have illegal aliens from more than 32 different countries. Some came here illegally, some came legally on visa's and overstayed them, becoming illegal. Just another tidbit of Info, many people refer to Puerto Ricans as illegal aliens. They are not illegal, they are American Citizens.

On July 25, 1898, during the Spanish-American War, Puerto Rico was invaded by the United States with a landing at Guánica. As an outcome of the war, Spain ceded Puerto Rico, along with Cuba, the Philippines, and Guam to the U.S. under the Treaty of Paris.[14]

The United States and Puerto Rico thus began a long-standing relationship. Puerto Rico began the 20th century under the military rule of the U.S. with officials, including the governor, appointed by the President of the United States. The Foraker Act of 1900 gave Puerto Rico a certain amount of popular government, including a popularly-elected House of Representatives. In 1917, the Jones-Shafroth Act granted Puerto Ricans U.S. citizenship and provided for a popularly-elected Senate to complete a bicameral Legislative Assembly. As a result of their new U.S. citizenship, many Puerto Ricans were drafted into World War I and all subsequent wars with U.S. participation.

Illegal aliens, and there are an estimated 12 to 30 million in this country. They are here with no health check and no criminal background check.

See, I do my homework!

Most of them have come to this country because there is more opportunity in the USA and they do want more out of life then their country has to offer. The problem is that many of them who will be deported, will not have the opportunity to come back leagally, especially those with previous deportations and those who have commited felony's.

Illegal entry is not a felony, it is a misdomeaner but once here, they use false paperwork to obtain jobs, living quarters, etc. and those become felony's because they are usually stolen Identities. Americans are spending millions to reclaim their own identities.

American Companies have willingly hired and even encouraged them to come here because they will work for lower wages and not complain about poor working conditions, unsafe working conditions, lack of benefits, etc. for fear of being deported. It is basically Slave labor and by cutting the wages, they have put thousands of Americans out of work.

Americans normally live one family to a single family dwelling, they pay health insurance, auto insurance, Federal income tax, etc. and cannot live on what a person who is willing to live 25 people (an apartment where I once lived had 25 people from India living in 2 bedrooms) to a single family dwelling.

They know that what they are doing is illegal or they would not go to the trouble of stealing or purchasing a stolen Id. With all the homegrown criminals we already have, why would we want to import more?

There are many churches who give aid to and harbor illegal aliens. They are breaking the law by doing so and should have their tax exempt status taken away. Seperation of Church and State.

I rarely watch television but I do read and research a lot. Can you beleave it, we even have one of the new flat screens and satelite but Unless there is a good movie on, I really don't care about it. If I watch the news, I can only watch one channel at a time, if I'm on the internet, I can go anywhere to get my news.

Great job to those who are getting the job done. I think I may have to send an email to our leaders to show I am in support of what is being done and more of it needs to be done.

Cobb County would be a good place to start Fudge, they are catching a lot of flack from the G.A.L.E.O. for enforcing the laws.

Should have checked papers right there in the meeting if he couldn't get control of it. Sounds like a lot of them would have left sooner than they did.

Have you ever read this?

http://www.illegalaliens.us/aztlan.htm

Or this?

http://www.mayorno.com/WhoIsMecha.html

If you can read them and still believe that a large part of the movement into this country is not a planned invation, I will be surprised and I suspect that the drug lords are behind a lot of it. How to take a country without firing a shot.
