while we were in FL my middle son Rob, who by the way is just like his dad, fell off the side of the pool into the water not once but twice, he refuses to wear arm floaties. Thankk goodness there was a man close to him that pulled him back up quickly, he is going to be the death of me, we have to watch him every second.:X

Heard from someone who works in the ER and was there when they brought him in that they are investigating the situation cause he was under water for 3-5 min before anyone noticed he was gone. Who doesn't notice their 4 year old gone for 3-5 mins in the water. It is so sad things that happen. I am praying for the family

I think "they" always investigate a child's death no matter what happen. But still the child had someone in their life that will miss him forever. And we should remember that.

This person working in the ER should remember the privacy laws. I worked with a person (not ER) that got fired for discussing someone's medical history outside her medical job. She had been an employee over 14 yrs..

My point is, no matter what happened, can you imagine going through this? My heart breaks for this family. It changes their lives forever. :(

last may my husband and I lost our 2 and 1/2 year old daughter to a tragic accidental drowning. It was a tragic accident that was investigated by DFACS and The Floyd County PD. It is always... ALWAYS... standard procedure for there to be an investigation. Please remember these parents are struggling with a tragic loss made very public and now an investigation, keep them in your prayers send them an encouraging note but do not ever question thier parenting because you havent been in that situation and I pray you never will be. The first responders for our tragic accident will always hold a special place in my heart and so will the Floyd ER. An accident is tragic but it doesnt need to be made worse by hospital gossip.

MODELMOMMY  I am so sorry to hear about your loss. As said I lost two very special little boys in my life last year and I cannot imagine the loss they feel. The pain they endure. Actually both families have been blessed with new babies. So are not that fortunate though. As I don't know you, or any details I can say I am sorry for your loss as well, and wish you the love and comfort that you can find be it in a photos of your lost child or a memory that you have. Please stay strong and know that someone out here is thinking of you and keeping you in prayers.
